I was wondering what the difference is between hydro and oxo codone? Is it the way the pill is made or extracted from the plant, Hydro is by water and Oxy is by oxygen??? I seem to think the oxycodone is stronger and almost all doctors and health care say it is more addicting than hydrocodone, why is this??? how much codone is in it, what is the difference between generic and the real oxycodone ## This means there are 5mgs of Oxycodone in it and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet. Oxycodone is the generic medication, there name brands are different, so there is no difference to speak of in this case. Is there anything else I can help with?

I need to find a pharmacy in San Diego that will fill 30 milligram oxycodone ## Almost every pharmacy will fill it. Also depends on which dr wrote the rx, but I've filled at almost every pharmacy in San Diego with many many people who had rxs for 180-360 30mg oxy every month. Cvs is the worst, Walgreens sucks...I'd say right now haggan/Sav on js the best. ## My Dr. here in San Diego just retired and I need to find a new one. 12 years ago I was in a really bad accident. I woke up with 6 broken vertabrae, 11 more that we were told are consuidered the equivalent of severely stress fractured, my cocyx had been removed, my frontal lobes partially seperated, "no functional balance mechanisms" a damaged right hip and two shattered knees. And a bunch of mush more minor injuries. For some people, me for one, any of the codones, including oxycodone, is virtually useless. For severe chronic pain, it is my experience that there is quite simply, no substite foir pure morhne sulphate. I take the stuff only when I hurt to the point that I just have to have some relief. For each 10mgs you take of Hydrocodone, you'd only need 6.67mgs of the Oxycodone to be equivalent. Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. I had surgery 4 weeks ago. I've been taking Oxycontin 10 mg 2 X's a day. And then Oxycodone 5 mg every 4 hrs. I'm also on Lyrica 2 X's a day. The oxycodone I try to push it 6-8 hrs but then I get nausea. I keep taking it different every time trying to trick my body out of an addictive routine. Not sure if that works, but I will try anything. However I am not sure which is more addictive, Contin, Codone or Lyrica and how do I wean from all of them?. Going to Pain Management was on opana ER 5mg Didnt like them barely worked...they want to switch me to hydrocodone compound 10/200. How r they?
