My doctor prescribed me 5mg endone and 20mg oxycontin on rare occasions when I knew I was going to need them. This was after months of physio, MRIs, and alternative meds. He recently retired, so I went to see his replacement. He spent about 30 seconds looking at my past scripts and said "you're clearly a drug addict, I'm not prescribing any of these," and kicked me out of the practice. So I asked around and eventually found Sandoz 80mg oxycodone (contin). They are still in blister packs, white on top, printed foil on the bottom, with the writing: Oxycodone Sandoze Oxycodone HCl 80mg Modified Release The pills are a darkish green, which can be scratched off to reveal a hard pressed white pill. My main concern, there is no stamp/imprint on the pill. Is that possible? Are t...

I have a oxy 8- that is round with no imprints on either side. It came in a blister pack professionally labeled and says it was made by Purdue Phamaceuticals and distributed by Rhodes pharmaceuticals. Can ou p;ease tell me what I have ## I came across the same thing today. Where are you from? I think they might be fake I can't find anything about them the NDC number even says they are oxy 30 but there supposed to be 80s. Am from Albuquerque,NM ## Hello, Shannon! How are you? Where were they obtained? All U.S. approved prescription tablets would have markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency, that is required by law. If they are from a foreign source, it may be difficult to positively identify them.

I took one & it did absolutely nothing to relieve the pain. Are these pills real? Now I'm scared cause I don't want to have pain but safety is my main concern. Has anyone ever gotten these from a pharmacy? Please help!!! ## Chrissy, take them back to the pharmacy for them to identify. Also call poison control 800 number, they will identify them for you. are these real? they smell alittle like bleach ## Where did you get them? If there are no markings, it will most likely be difficult to verify their authenticity. I can't find any images of them to check. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Is anyone familiar with these? ## If you are getting these pills from the Pharmacy take them back and ask the pharmacist if they are generic.

See title for pill description...shaped round yet a little flattened, bright green, not dull or mint green like in used to seeing. I was under the impression that all countries mark or imprint their pharmaceutical medications with letters or numbers to identify them. Are all countries obligated to imprint their narcotics such as 80 mg oxycodone extended release? ## No, the imprint requirement here is due to U.S. FDA laws, but not every country requires imprints. Which, of course, also means that there is no way of knowing what you will actually receive if you fill your prescription from a foreign source. You may have Oxycodone ER, but you could also just have Tylenol, or something else. The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such...

Is there anyone who can tell me if there is oxycodone 80 mg marked with just E on them? They came in a blister back. ## There is no legally approved U.S. one that just has an E on it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The only 80mg approved in the U.S. is the time released Oxycontin manufactured by Purdue. Where was this obtained? ## Hello I have some of these to. Are they fake ## Are they actually oxycodone though or are they fent or something that isn't even an opiate?

The pill is round green and has OX80 on it I found this pill while walking around the local hardware store and a just curious what it is. ## Hello, John! How are you? No, there isn't one available in the U.S. with this marking, nor any other medication that I have been able to find in the NIH database. My best guess is that it is some type of over the counter product, since they are not required to register the imprints with the relevant government entities. Thus, it would be best to just dispose of it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## These are actually oxycodone 80mg time release from Manufacturer Aurobindo Seems like they are not very popular. I got my prescription filled with this brand and it was so-so, not as good compared to mundipharma, sandoz, lannacher, or activa...

Im from toronto n got a 80mg green oxy with 80 on one side and a sigle p on othet! If this a real 80? ## need pain meds for herniated disk ## Hi Frnk, The closest match I've been able to locate is Oxycontin (80 mg). It is a round green pill with the imprint '80' on one side and 'OP' on the other. Oxycodone is the active ingredient in Oxycontin; Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid synthesized from poppy-derived thebaine. It is a narcotic analgesic generally indicated for relief of moderate to severe pain. It is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and has a National Drug Code of 59011-0480. How can I tell if oc 80 is real? ## Hi Misti, If you could provide the imprint(s) on the tablet, along with a physical description of the pill (color, shape, etc), then I can help you determine if it's real or not. I have seen a round green 80mg Oxycodone tablet with the imprint: M 596; and another round green one with the imprint: ABG 80; and one other that is oval and green with an imprint of: 33 93. While I'm sure there are a few others out there besides these three that are 80mg doses, once you post back with more details, we can narrow down the search. I hope this helps!

These pills are green with no imprint whatsoever. Blister packaging matches Apotexs' exactly. Anyone out there know anything about these? ## This sounds like a sure counterfeit if you ask me. The fact that it has no imprint and is actually trying to represent itself as something legitimate, is enough of a red flag in my opinion. Apotex's product list (linked below) shows that their green 80mg Oxycontin is supposed to say "APO" on one side and "OCD" over "80" on the back: apotex.com/ca/en/products/downloads/print/en_apl_print.pdf If you're still unsure about it I would probably encourage you to contact the manufacturer regarding this, have it analyzed by a lab, and/or find a way to safely dispose of it. ## A friend just filled a prescription for 40mg a...

football shape letter m on one side ## First, I would like to state that there is no generic or Oxycontin in the United States. It was banned several years ago, due to abuse an is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma in the name brand. However, there is generic products available for both Roxicodone, the regular release formula and OxyIR, the instant release. As to the type you have and the dosage, I cannot tell you that, without more specifics on the imprint. There are several that have an M marking, without knowing if it is in a box or a plain M and any additional numbers on the tablet, I cannot give you any precise information. Can you please post back with more details?

Please help! I found this pill along with others in my husbands car. ## I took these for years. It's an 80 mg oxycontin. It contains 80 mg of oxycodone, and is in a time release form hopefully he won't chew it, that's a big big dose all at once. ## Hello, I believe that I found a pill that matches your description. If this is the pill that you found just let me know and I'll provide you with some additional information if you want.

The M and square is the sign for Mallinckroft, a generic manufacturer. ## Hello, Just to confirm, I have identified a round green pill with the imprint ABG on one side and 80 on the other as Oxycodone HCL (80 mg). This pill is manufactured by Teva pharmaceuticals. I can also confirm the identification of the light blue Oxycodone HCL (30 mg) with the boxed M (for Mallinckroft pharmacetuicals) on one side and a 30 on the other (above a score line). Found a pill that is round, white, and has AZ286 imprinted on it. Have had two people say its a generic percocet or oxycodone. ANyone know? ## Is it possible that the imprint is SZ 286? SZ286 is also round and white. If so this pill is Sulfamethoxazole 800 mg and Trimethoprim 160 mg, which is a sulfonamide antibacterial combination of trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole, in the ratio of 1 to 5, used in the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections.
