This is an over the counter tablet manufactured by Allegiant Health and many others (NDC 69168-330), and they list it as containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin. It is an expectorant used to treat congestion caused by cold, flu, or allergies. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. I'm 69 & suddenly suffering from Neuropathic pain in shoulders, hips, & lower back which radiates into extremities. Cause and effect or coincidence? this all started right after a Prevnar 13 shot. I am in FL where MAJOR tightening on Pain Meds is being implemented. Costco sources through Mallinckrodt & Interpharm. Walmart, Publix, Sams use Rhodes. Rhodes does not give me the same level of pain relief and also leaves me feeling agitated and nervous/shaky. Costco Corp policy is also becoming very strict. I am trying to identify 2 pills, they are white, octagonal. one has E693 in black letters and the number 40 below it and the opposite side is blank. The other one has the number embossed on one side and the other side is blank. Can anyone identify these for me? ## E 693 is a 40mg Opana tablet, containing the active ingredient Oxymorphone, this is a very potent narcotic pain medication. This is Florida where in 2010 almost 98% of the nations oxycodone for that year was dispensed (two CVS pharmacies within 5 miles of each other were busted for selling over 12 million doses in three years(average pharmacy fills 69,000 controlled a year). With my old Dr. he had me on 30 mg oxycodone 4x a day and 190 mg extended release morphine 3x a day. I had to see another Dr. as this one left my ins. plan. New Dr. said no, to taking 30 mg oxycodone due to my age. I am 69 yrs. old. Is he lying? ## Did he give any other reasons? I am 69 yrs. Old and have been taking oxycodone for 31, yes thirty-one, years for chronic pain. Long history of physical abuse, 3 types of cancer, injurys and PTSD. I started taking them in other ways than prescribed, 30 Mg., about 3 years ago to get the "instant " relief when my pain was "white hot " and I couldn't brave myself through it long enough for it to go to work if taken orally. About an hour later I take one orally to get through the next 3 hours, then repeat the process until my "BAD DAY" passed.
