My dr has me on 2 Xanax (.5 mg) pluse 80 mg of oxicodone 80 mg divided 4 Xdaily. I ran out and have Xanax and tramadol...is this dangerous? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? My dr.s put me off work and told me to sign up on disability. well they say it will be 10-11 months to see the judge and have no insurance no $ no nothing right now. we have an eldely dog that has bad arthritis,i have been giving her 1/2 of a 5 mg tab twice a day,it to works well,but like with all ir meds,there is peaks and valleys. i had a car accident on chrismas of 2010 and the mri shows that I have 4disk discarnation in my neck and lower back. the doctor from pain managment prescribed me oxicontin 10mg but I take 40mg a day and now I had a motorcycle accident on may 12 2011 and he prescribe me oxicodone 15mg but the problem is that I get severe constipation, I was thinking that if I take less pills with more dosis I wont have the severe constipation so I think 30mg will be better how can I get them.? ## Actually no, a higher dosage would make the constipation worse, it is a very common side effect of these types of medications.
