Oxetol

i have got seizures and sponteneous intracerebral haemorrhage left frontal lobe ..since feb10 with seizures every month however dose has increased to 300 mg but then seizures frequency has increased ## My mother also got seizures about after 20days. doctor suggested to intake oxetol 300 mg thrice a day. Will it help to reduce or stop the episodes of seizure. All tests are just normal as MRI, MRA, EEG and all. So please suggest us what should we do for her relief and her age is 53years.

Hello i am 18 years old. I visited a mental doctor for my tension and thinking. She advised me to take flunil 20 and oxetol 150. One month i regularly take it at morning(flunil) and night(oxetol). My wife is 29 yrs old. She got a fit attack last night. We did CT scan and there findings were " Findings are suggestive of inflammatory granuloma, neurocystercosis with calcified dot". Regarding past history:- She got first fit attack at the age of 12(No medication done). Second attack at age of 16yrs. (Took medicine Eptoin for 3 yrs and stopped medicine as per doctor advise and CT scan result) Now got 3rd attack at age of 29 as mentioned at top. Hi there, My dad is 58yrs old, he's an epilepsy patient for last 30+ years..Right from inital stage till date he has been using sodium valproate 400mg twice a day. Recently a few weeks back he's affected with epilepsy (fits) after nearly two years gap. As a common practice we have consulted the doctor and has make him to undergo all the test (ECG/EPG) etc tests. As a result the doctor whom we consulted has advised to stop using sodium valproate 400mg and replace it with Oxetol 300mg and assured this should take care of the issue. Have you consulted your doctor and dentist? ## I was just getting up at knight and roaming in the house. Because of this problem I went to doctor. He found nothing in the xray. Then he started giving tablets. When I started taking I feel sleepy the whole day and night. If I stop it I get fits the next day only. Before it was happening sometimes. My daughter is of 6yrs old.she started her speech at 4yrs old. As a part of behavioral therapy we are giving the oxetol 150. 3 nos morning and 1nos at night. Our doctor told us to continue for 3years. One year is over and now she have improper pronounced speech.what should I do now. I request you doctor to pls give me a solution as I am much worried.

Recently it was fiagnosed that I have partial complex seizures hence the neurologist prescribed Oxetol (to be gradually increased from 150 mg twice a day to 450 mg twice a day). I was NOT TOLD ABOUT ANY CONTRAINDICATED medicines by the Doctor. A week later, I had fever and another GP (who I had told that I am on Oxetol), gave me the anitibiotic Oflox. Only when I suffered excruciating headaches and could not lift my head for an entire day, did I find out through our family physician that Oxcarbazepine and Fluoroqinalones are contraindicated.
