I have taken OVERAL G thrice in a day for 6 days, as suggested by my doc. Now i am taking the same tab once in a day, but i am experiencing a few drops of blood instead of my full period. Does Ovral L responsible for high BP. ## Under certain circumstances, the hormones in oral contraceptives may increase the risk of hypertension, especially in women over 35, women who smoke, or those that have been on them for a long period of time. There is no way, however, to say that it may only have been caused by taking them. Your doctor would have to be the one to help you discover a cause, if there is one and find proper treatment. Hi. I am normally using ovral, but when I went and fetched my new months pills they give me Famynor. I don't know Famynor. They told me it's the same as ovral. According to the NIH famynor and ovral both contain the active ingredient Ethinyl Estradiol .05mg, however, Famynor contains Norgestrel .5mg and Ovral contains Levonorgestrel .25mg. Both medications are used as a contraceptive and decreasing pains and blood loss during certain menstrual conditions. Though the two medications are similar they are technically not the same. I have been advised to take Ovral-L tablet for two months by one of the doctor. In that, I took first month correctly. Then in my second set of tablets, I missed the direction given by arrows in last 7 days. Is it ok or it should not have been done? Will it have any negative effect in my periods? ## I have been suggested ovral G for 3 months to regulate cycle and as a contraceptive. After taking ovral g for 20 days i had intercourse without a condom. should i take some i-pill also on the 24th day for additional protection?

i am taking this pill since last 5 years and i am taking it for all 30 days of a month to stop my periods. it may be shocking but i am doing it. i have gained so much weight. have problem with my skin as it is getting darker. my blood pressure keeps very high. and i have mood swings also. what should i do now to live a normal life.

I got my period yesterday and started ovral G y'day night and will continue for next 20 days. Will that stop my bleeding ## It isn't likely if you are new to taking it, you'll likely still have your normal menstrual cycle. Learn more oral contraceptive details here. You may even bleed longer than normal or heavier than normal. I am taking ovral L from last 3 month.In 1st month i have bleeding while 5 pills left. In 2nd month my period comes regularly ( once i finish all pills). In 3 month i got bleeding on 15 day of my pill (i still have 6 pills to go ) - i dont understand why does it happen? What does it means ? Do i need to see doctor or its normal?
