my urine test showed i have hydrocodone but i do not take that i take oxycontin 30mg oxycodone 15mg xanax 1mg temazepam 30mg for sleep. remeron 30mg for depression and over the counter tylenol cold and flu nyquil azithromycin antibiotic250mg baclofen 20mg for muscle spasams in back been through 6 failed lower back ops. I pulled a muscle on the left side of my lower back and I want to know if I can take an anti-inflammatory medication since I have had a bleeding stomach 2 yrs ago (because I took too many anti-inflammatory meds) before my back surgery. ## Hi Gus, Sorry to hear about your previous experience on anti-inflammatory drugs. If I can't take any aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs 5 days before a procedure, can I still take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325? ## You should be able to take it, unless you have been told not to do so, since it does not contain Aspirin, or any other anti-inflammatory. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Over the counter substitute for Atarax ## Atarax contains the active ingredient Hydroxyzine, which is an antihistamine. Since I do not know your medical history, I cannot guess why your doctor may have prescribed it; but it is used to treat allergies, prevent nausea, to treat anxiety as well as some other conditions. I am presently taking gabapentin and if I forget 1 tablet it is awful. I can't sleep and my legs ache and the next morning because of the lack of sleep I can not function. I am on this medicine for back pain and I do believe it helps.. I would like to get off this drug and maybe try something natural but not sure what is in this.
