I am 29years old. I have a cyst right ovary of 17mm. My stomach size is increasing day by day. Doctor has said to do surgery. And now pain has started inside my stomach and due to pain i cant even nor i can eat anything. Is surgery necessary?? Is there any other procedure ## If it is severe and causing that many problems, then surgery is usually the best option, as stated by your doctor and the NIH. Modern surgical methods are minimally invasive and have very quick recovery times. Are you on any medications? Are your periods regular?

Hey there.. I am 19 y/o and have been diagnosed with PCoD.Well, i missed my periods for 4month, and doctor asked me to do an ultrasound, and it came out to be ovarian cyst. I have 7-8 cysts on my right ovary, each of 5.6mm(approx).Then, my gynaecologist prescribed me to take Deviry 10mg for 5days,twice a day,and krimson 35 from the first day of my period.. And now its been 21days,and i'm still bleeding,that to Heavily..my gynac now asked me to take Deviry 10mg for 15days,twice a day, which i haven't taken yet. I have had blood tests for thyroid,Prolactin, testosterone, LHS, FH, diabetics, and the reports were normal..Doctor said that My heavy bleeding is due to excess estrogen level.. i am 21 year old. and weigh 66kg. i had irregular periods since a year. recently consulted a gynaecologist. blood test and scanning done. my report stated... Hi, Actually I have cyst(3.5cm) in right ovary, doctor told me to use Novelon tablets for 21days and i used 21 days and it got over on 4days(2nd April) back still i have not got my periods please tell is there any chances of pregnancy after taking this novelon am trying for conceive from past two years, but my result is always negative and my periods are very regular. I have 2 Haemorrhagic cysts (3x2cm) in my right ovary and 1 uterine fibroid (9mm) since 2 months after my gynae gave me HCG injection. I was asked to take crimson 35 oral contraceptives last month by my gynae and since they didn't help, my doc asked me to discontinue them and just take folic acid tabs. sir i went for scan yesterday and got the following report mildly bulky uterus with fibriod right ovary cysts internal echoes-suggestive of ? endometriotic cyst ( 5.3 x 3.4 cms, shows cysts with internal echoes measuring 3.7 x 3.0 cms and 1.8 x 1.9 cms. left ovary shows cysts measuring 2.5 x 1.9 cms and 11x9 mm I have not got periods for 4 months and i am 48. dr, has advised me Meprate 10 mg for 2 days and novelon 10. d x 21 for 3 months please suggest me.

i had a cyst in my right ovary doctor prescribed me to take novelon for 3 month 21 tablets from the fifth day of my period.i completef one month course and in next month i missed 4 days in taking the tablets on fifth day when i take the medicine my period started again.so i stopprd my tablets again now what do i do ## Continue taking them, as prescribed by our doctor, unless they instruct otherwise. I have an hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary. My doctor put me on Femiane saying it'll wash the cyst off. Can this work? ## Hello, Jamie! How are you? My friends daughter is 18 years old. She had a cyst in right ovary. She was done cystecomy. She had serum insulin of 90 mg which just 5 mg above the limit. Doctor prescribed with glucomet 250 mg. Doctor said to avoid future diabeter and to reduce weight this is prescribed. This is not a continuos life time medicine. Once the weight is reduced this can be stopped. I am scared as this may cause side affect. Her sugar levels are normal. Is it really required. Please guide. Should it is really required to be given. Can this be controlled in diet. ## Glycomet 250 mg and not glucomet.

I am having PCOD problem(10 cyst in right ovary and 10 in left) and also thyroid. For thyroid I have been taking thyronorm and now my thyroid is normal. Also My prolactin level is a bit high. Other than this all my hormones etc are normal and all other blood test reports were normal. Now I am trying to conceive a child. My doctor has prescribed me medicine Ovacare forte, B-long F and cabgolin (cabgolin once a week). Also I didn't had my periods for last two months for which doctor gave me meprate after which I had periods which lasted for 5 days( had periods on 5th December 2013 after which had on 3rd feb, 2014 after taking medicines), but now after one week of my periods now I am again having my periods(started again on 13th feb, 2014). I was asked to take the novelon tablet for 22 days due to a cyst in my right ovary. After the course of treatment, my scan gave a clear report of normal ovary. I got my period on 29th day. It continued for 4 days with normal flow. Then till 7th day I got little spotting. Then it stopped. Now again on 10th day I have got little spotting. Is anything to worry about.
