just tring to find out what they are, there white and ovel , v on front 58 38 on back ## Is there a chance the imprint could read V 58 81? This was the closest match I could find being white and oval with a V on the front and 58 | 81 on the back, separated by a score line. If this is your pill I found it to be Spironolactone (50 mg). Spironolactone is used primarily to treat heart failure, ascites in patients with liver disease, low-renin hypertension, hypokalemia and Conn's syndrome. Do not break, chew or crush these, since they are controlled release, it could cause you to get too much at once, additionally, it is severely irritating to mucous membranes, so it could cause ulceration.
