was given for pain from my doctor because it was a substitute for lortab? ## This is NOT a substitute for Lortab. Lortab contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. This medication is Tramadol 50mgs, it is listed as a narcotic, because it is derived from an opiate, however, it does not have the same benefits or effects that an opiate does, so it does not work like one. What is a small white oval pill with M on one side and 15 on other? Is it a generic Lortab? ## There isn't a Lortab with those markings. Is this the pill? It is actually a very pale yellow, so pale that it does look white. If so, then it is Mobic 15mg manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim (NDC 0597-0030) Ref: DailyMed

Received the generic form of this drug ( Hydrocodone APAP 5/500 )But there was pills in the same bottle that have the number M357 and the other looks like it has a V on one side..then the other side of that pill has the number 3592.Now both of this pills are white, oblong, and can be scored in the middle. The pill looks like a vicodin. It's coated and has nothing on one side. The other side has #44175 on it.... Can someone tell me if it is a lortab or hydrocodone? ## No, it is not. This is actually an over the counter medication that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic, or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You are wrong this was out before the manufacturer changed and was bought out thus changing the pill to acetaminophen only, witch btw the pill in reference is blank on one side.
