I HAVE 2 BOTTLES OF METFORMIN HCL TAB 500MG. ONE BOTTLE HAS WHITE ROUND TABLET A/12 ON IT AND THE OTHER HAS WHITE OVAL TABLET a logo and 4331/500 ON IT. ARE THESE THE SAME MEDICATIONS? COULD THEY BE GENERIC AND THE OTHER BRAND NAME MEDICATION? ## I have two bottles of Metformin HLC Tabs. One is a refill for the other. The tabs are different shapes made by different companies.
