I take pills from my mom and write down the names of them, how they look the color how many milligrams, and what is stamped on them so I know which one it is. This one I couldn't find the name so I searched it up and found it. OVAL WHITE PIIL WITH NO SCORE ON IT ## Oval white L434 ## The only pill I could find to match this description carries the marking L 484 and carries 500mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for extra strength Tylenol, it is available over the counter and frequently sold by Kroger stores. I have long oval shaped white tablet with L484 on one side. Can anyone identify this for me? ## L 484 is 500 mg Acetaminophen a generic extra strength Tylenol. ## This identification is correct, however, I'd like to add some updated information, since it did not apply at the time these posts were made. As of January 2011, a Black Box warning has been added to over the counter products containing Acetaminophen. It was revealed that it has been responsible for almost half of the Acetaminophen related liver failure instances in the U.S. They have concluded that its relationship to it is mainly due to overdose. Being that it is an over the counter product, many people just assume that it's safe to use as they please. So, this was done in an effort to try to help make it more obvious...

I have this pill. I'm not reading it upside down. It has no manufacturer marks. It just has the letters or numbers 4847 and that's all. ## What pill shape oval size and the inprint of 4847 what are they and what are they called ## Hello Doug, Unfortunately after extensive research nothing comes up for a pill with the imprint 4847. I know that you said you weren't reading it upside down but just in case I found a white oblong pill imprinted with L484 that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mgs) which is a store brand or generic Extra Strength Tylenol. This would be an exact match to your description but only if read upside down. If you are absolutely sure that you are reading it right side up it may even be a good idea to take it into a local pharmacy and see if th...
