Ovacet

Dear sir, Am 28 year old girl...i have irregular periods.its around 55-60 days cycle...my self and my husband met a doctor..she said to take ovacet and folic acid for every day...after that I got my periods around 35days..but its not normal..and after 35 days I got normal periods....but again I got a periods after 60days. could you advise how to get regular periods. we are worrying about getting pregnant due to irregular periods. so please help us Regards, Birundha

Hii I have pcos. I am a mother of 5 yr old. Now I want one more baby. For the past 8 months we hav been trying, but no luck. My Dr prescribed me ovacet tabs and folic acid. It's been 3 months still nothing. My period was regular. But after starting ovacet my period is irregular. Now am worried. What should I do?? Should I stop ovacet? ## My Dr prescribed me ovacet tabs for 3 months, give the details of taking this tablet when to take.

I am suffering from pcos and taking ovacet. I have a situation were I need to prolong my periods by a week. Can I stop ovacet and take Promilut n OR can I continue both at the same time. Is there any side Effect if I take Ovacet and Promilut n at the same time. ## Hi Jaya, Ovacet reportedly contains the following set of ingredients: Myoinositol + L-methyl Folate + Calcium + Vitamin D; however there are no current methods for checking interactions between vitamins and contraceptives like Primolut (norethisterone). So it sounds to me like your best bet would probably be to contact the doctor who prescribed both medications, in order to help rule out the possibility of interactions occurring.
