Because of my extreme drug sensitivity, I need to take the brand name Cardizem for my A-fib. Due to production problems, it was not available after December 2017 with the availability not returning until April 2018. I feel as though the new release is not the same as the prior capsules... There appears to be less medication contained in it and I am not getting the same benefit from the Cardizem 120mg I was taking before the production problem. The pharmaceutical company is Valeant. Can this be checked out? Did anyone else have this problem with the new release? Thank you. ## Sorry the year dates are incorrect......it was not available as of Dec 2016 and did not return until April 2017. ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? Has there been any change? Estratest is the only hormone that fit me perfectly for weight, attitude, libido, energy, youth. I have been miserable without it. Can't find anything, not even bio's that take it's place. Can we get it in another country - Mexico? Canada? Everything has changed with me since I quit taking it because it's not available in the US. ## Estratest contains the active ingredients, Esterified Estrogens + Methyltestosterone. The company "Solvay" has discontinued the manufacture of Estratest and Estratest HS Have you considered looking at other brands which contain the same active ingredients? Brand names with these ingredients are listed below: Covaryx, Covaryx HS, EEMT, EEMT DS, EEMT HS, Essian, Essian H.S, Menogen HS, Menogen, Syntest HS, Syntest DS I've also heard...

1. What is the chemical composition of Proxyvon Capsule and who are the manufacturers in India? 2. Availability of same medicine in US, and its trade name/brand name, if available? ## I'm sorry, but this site doesn't have a list of all available manufacturers in India, since we are based in the U.S. Proxyvon contains Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene and it is no longer available in the U.S. Propoxyphene was removed from the market here, and in many other countries, due to the risks it causes of cardiac toxicity. It was sold here under several brand names, one of which was Darvocet: Are there any other questions? ## Could you provide the composition of proxyvon capsule.

Found a Orange Round Pill Only a V on one side, no numbers or letters on the other side. It is very thick. Do u k now what it possibly may be? ## I can't find any prescription medications that just have a V marking on them, but there is an over the counter product available that meets this description. They are Vivarin tablets, sold as an alertness aid, they contain 200mgs of Caffeine. They are usually yellow in color, but while doing an image search, I did find a generic brand with the same marking that is darker in color, so it appears orange. Are there any other questions? ## this pill is thick and orange not yellow. the V is not think just normal. any other suggestions?

I have some YELLOW oblong pills from Pakistan. Pill says WATSON 853 and is yellow football shaped. Is suppossed to be Vicodin 10/325. Does not stop pain. Is it safe? I think I've been scammed by Pakistan. ## This tablet does contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, a generic for Norco, Vicodin and its generics, usually contain more Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic pain reliever, these same tablets are available in the US as generics from pharmacies that carry them. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can find more information on the medication here: The problem you may be running into, if you have never taken this generic before, is that the FDA does allow generics to differ from their name brand counterparts, in the...

Was in the er a few nights ago and the doctor gave me 600 mg Mortrain and 2 325 mg of percocet. When we took my prescriptions In to get filled they switch them to oxycodone and ibuprofen can I still take them together like the doctor wants ## Hi Heather, How are you? Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Ibuprofen and Oxycodone. With that said, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to continue taking them together as the doctor suggested. There's also a brand available here in the US by the name of Combunox, which reportedly contains both of these active ingredients as well. So there really isn't any concern with regards to interactions since they already combine the two substances in other prescription medications. I hope this hel...

I have been trying to find Sinutab, have they quit making it? Why? It was the best allergy relief I found. ## No, the manufacturer still lists a page for it and it being available. It contains Acetaminophen and Phenylephrine. There are actually many products on the market that contain this combination, both generic, store and name brands. Have you tried perhaps asking your pharmacist what else might have the same stuff in it? ## I have, also, been trying to find Sinutab sinus caplets. I called the manufacturer and they said it is no longer sold in New York. There is a K-Mart store in Trenton, New Jersey still carrying it.No help to me. ## I have been looking for Sinutabs in Columbus, Ohio. Is Darvin a generic for Darvocet? ## I think you mean the drug Darvon - No, Darvon is not generic for Darvocet. Darvocet contains Acetaminophen + Propoxyphene Darvon is only Propoxyphene. ## No it is definitely darvin 32.5/325mg i thought darvon at first too but the bottle definitely says darvin when I submitted my prescription to a pharmacy for darvocet this is what I got in the mail. Does anyone know about this?? ## Dana, You're right - Darvin IS actually another brand of Acetaminophen + Propoxyphene, basically the same as Darvocet. Encyclopedia actually did say the following: 'In the United States, dextropropoxyphene HCl is available as a prescription with acetaminophen in ratio anywhere from 30mg / 600mg to 60mg / 325mg, respectively. These are usually named Darvocet, Darvin...

What substitute can I use for pankreoflat, please help!! ## Have you talked to your doctor or pharmacist about finding a substitute you can use? The active ingredient in it was Pancreatin, so what you'd really need to look for is another medication that contains it in the same dosage. ## I need tab. pankreoflat. doctor prescribed to me. At present I am in Malaysia. I am not getting here. So I need equivalent alternative tab ## Prakash I am seeing that Pancreatin supplements seem to be available over the counter from a number of places on the internet. Is this the same thing as the ingredient in your original medication? One such place is Amazon.com where lots of brands of this supplement are listed, but I am not sure if that is an option for you in Malaysia.

Is Acetaminophen like a Percocet? I'm not too fond of Percocets, as I was given them after I had my baby. ## Hi Nicki, Acetaminophen is NOT the same thing as Percocet. It can sometimes be confusing because Acetaminophen is one of the active ingredients in Percocet (the other being Oxycodone which is a strong narcotic drug in the opioid class). However, on its own, Acetaminophen is a readily available over the counter pain reliever (it is not a narcotic like Oxycodone in Percocet), so you should not expect to have any of the unpleasant side effects associated with a drug like Percocet. It is important to follow the instructions on the label because too much Acetaminophen can cause liver damage. One brand name that you would be familiar with that contains Acetaminophen as the only act...

My doctor mentioned using a compounding company to have prescriptions tailored to your body. Anyone use them or know how it works? ## Hello Karen, According to the FDA compounding medications simply means having medication tailored to suit your personal needs. For example, let's say that you need a prescription medication that contains a blue dye that you are allergic to but this is the only brand available on the market. In this case you can have this medication compounded (created) with the same ingredients except for the blue dye. One thing to note on is that by having a drug compounded this means that the drug is not FDA approved since it is not exactly what the manufacturer intended. If you would like some additional information on the subject here is the link I sourced all my ...

I’m seeking to purchase a product sold over the counter in Mexico which is called "Alevian Duo" or, if not sold in the USA, a product which has the same ingredients sold by a different name in the USA. ## Hmmm, if you aren't able to get it directly from Mexico, try searching for other products domestically by active ingredient: Looks like it contains Pinaverium Bromide and Dimethcone. Not sure what contains the exact same combination. "Pinaverium bromide was first registered in 1975 by Solvay Pharmaceuticals (now a division of Abbott Laboratories), and marketed globally using the brand names Dicetel and Eldicet. Generic pinaverium is available in South Korea under a trade name of Disten[1] and in Argentina as Nulite." - Wikipedia

I found two different pills in the same container labeled "Guaifenesin." One is a white oval about 3/10" thick & 4/5" long, labeled "ucb" on left, scored deeply in middle, and "620" on right. The other is a much smaller, green oval tablet, about half as thick and a bit shorter, also scored between the labels "A1" and "06." ## From all I can tell, they are both guaifenesin --but I don't believe they are prescription any more--I think it is now available OTC as Mucinex. ## Chill, you are right about them being available OTC. The pill marked Ucb 620 is marketed as Duratuss G; a brand name for guaifenesin (1200mg). It's noted to be available OTC and/or via Prescription. I'm assuming this depends on the dosage?
