Hi, I am very slim. 5'2 and no more than 95lbs and that's pushing it!! I have no appetite and a very fast metabolism!! I cannot afford to buy any weight supplement over the counter. I don't have a doctor as of yet either as almost no doctor will accept patients who are on Oregon Health Plan!! Anyway, I am trying to find out if CB1 can be prescribed by a Physician or only available OTC? Also I need to know what prescription weight gainer pills are out there so I can research them for when I find a Doctor very soon. Thank you ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? There aren't any prescription weight gain medications, so to speak, there are some that may cause weight gain as a side effect, but they only do that as long as you're taking them and yes, the CB1 requires a prescript...

I have a weight problum i have gain 20 pound in the past few weeks and i am haveing problum in finding the right medication to help me to loose it. ## @Gharles Watley, Sorry to hear about your weight problem. Have you considered changing any other aspects of your diet or exercise habits before adopting a new medication regimen? In most cases, a moderate exercise routine (4-5 days a week) alongside healthy eating habits can get the job done in and of itself. I don't know what your lifestyle is like, but stress can also have a lot to do with sudden weight gain. Regarding a medication, I'd recommend doing some research on South African Hoodia; a powerful OTC dietary supplement for suppressing your appetite. In the past I've also had experience using OxyElite Pro, which in my op...

I'm 70 years old with asthma. Where I'm staying there's pine trees starting to flower which makes it really hard to cough up phlegm from my chest at different times at night. Anyone have any clues on how to make coughing easier? It makes me feel exhausted and also stressed out about catching covid. I'm in Australia and my Dr is away on holiday. ## Just about every night I have to get out of bed and try to clear my throat. Does anyone know what I can do to make it easier to clear my throat? I've tried otc cough medicines and they don't seem to do anything. Any info would be really appreciated. I find coughing is exhausting and my wife of 30 yrs who is suffering from memory loss and extreme weight gain says she doesn't hear me coughing, but if I open up the fri...

I want to know the difference between GABAPENTIN a RX and OTC GABA? ## Hello, Pamela! How are you? There are two completely different substances. The FDA classifies Gabapentin as an anticonvulsant that can also help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders. It requires a doctor's prescription and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain. A sudden withdrawal may also create the risk of seizures. The Gaba that you see available over the counter, however, is just a nutritional supplement. The full name for it is actually Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid. It is just an amino acid. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I think I have convinced myself that it helps me to a nice calmness in the evening! My husband takes RX for $$...

The only antidepressant I ever took for a short time was Zoloft to get me thru PMS. Age 56. I started taking Cymbalta 2 weeks ago and I feel wonderful. I was moody(never knew when it would happen). Sluggish, gain weight. For the short time, I have been moody one time and loose weight. Plus I'm changed my diet to eat healthier and exercising. It boost the serotonin in system. ## All SSRI's are harmful, some fatal while taking/withdrawling. Cymbalta is a dual SSRI (SSNRI). Take 5htp OTC at a health food outlet, no side effects. I've been at 60mg/day since 11/04, and I am pissed. I have diabetic neuropathy, no mental/emotional issues. Save yourself, pharma won't. In short, all SSRI's are FDA approved chemical lobotomies, and your Dr. makes money prescribing them. Good L...

Are there studies that evidence the advantage of the combination of an Analgesic and a Diuretic? Was this combination approved by FDA, It is possible to get copies of this study? ## The FDA has approved 3 nonprescription diuretics for relief of water retention, bloating, weight gain, and swelling.1 These include ammonium chloride, caffeine, and pamabrom.1 Pamabrom is the diuretic most commonly found in OTC menstrual products.

I feel I have been on all anti-pressants ever made, I self medicated with booze for a long time so of course none of them worked or made me sleepy. Well finally I got off the booze about 4 years ago and I like Remeron but I`m diabetic and scared of all the talk about weight gain, I keep my numbers down for the diebetes, I`m 67 and I tread very lightly. ## Have you talked to your doctor? I know you say that you've tried them all, but there are some relatively new ones on the market and not all of them are known to cause weight gain. Your doctor may be able to suggest one you can try that wouldn't cause this issue. I understand why you tread lightly, being diabetic and your age. Have you tried any natural treatments? Some people have great luck with OTC supplements such as Ashwaga...

Chronic constipation with 40-50 lbs weight gain... Linzess works with explosive diarrhea within an hour of taking it but doesn't seem to resolve the problem. It makes me go from feeling 9 months pregnant to 6 months pregnant. Also have a new side effect of the drug (or the constipation) which is acne on my shoulders and back. Tries lots of otc remedies and natural remedies with no luck. Dr gave me linzess and like I said it works but not completely. The 145 dose seems to work while the 290 did not, so i went back to 145 and same results. I am fit. Used to do 1000 sit ups a day...now can't manage 20 due to the bloat and weight gain...frustrated and worried. I am a big guy...6'7"...should be 230# but am weighing in at about 280# which has been increasing over the past 6-7 ...

Help me please need to gain weight apetito pills. Trying to find these over the counter in Texas. ## Hi Angie, Sorry to hear about your challenges with weight management. From what I could gather, the pills you're referring to called Apetito, are reported to be illegally imported through other countries like Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, and Mozambique. However I've seen no mention of these pills existing on US soil. If you're in Texas why don't you just look into the various OTC supplements available at local healthfood stores in your area? Another option is medical cannabis if it's legal where you live? From my experience that is a great way to stimulate your appetite as well. One other suggestion I have would be to consider seeing a registered dietician who can help yo...

I found a football shaped with a 189 on one side and plain on the other. It is a medium sized tablet light yellow in color. ## There's a good chance that's generic Bupropion XL 150mg by Global Pharmaceuticals ## I can't find any listing for this, there is a good chance it is just something OTC. ## Yes, the imprint as listed in the original post is actually upside down, it is 681 and the tablet does contain 150mgs of Bupropion ER, a generic for Wellbutrin XL, used as an antidepressant and stop smoking aid. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and weight gain. You can read more on it here: Is there anything else I can help you with?

Actually there is a 25mg Quetiapine tablet manufactured by Accord Healthcare that matches this description. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?
