What is this used for? How long can it be used before trying something else? ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I'm sorry, but from the information you've listed, I can't tell you anything about this product, other than that it's used topically to treat pain, hence the musculo and ortho. However, without knowing the actual ingredients, I can't tell you more. The cmp stands for compounded, meaning that this is something specially created for you, according to your doctor's orders, by a speciality compounding pharmacy. However, there is no universal list of ingredients that I can refer to, it can vary from area to area and from doctor to doctor. Are there any other details listed?

A few months back I spranged my right ankle and my doc gave me a topical cream called Ketostat. He didn't write a prescription for it; just gave it to me during an office visit. I'm now wondering if I can get it from a drugstore or if I need a prescription for it. It worked wonders for my right ankle and now I have a broken left ankle and feel it will do just as well. I'd appreciate any information. THANKS!!! ## My ortho doc had to write a prescription for ketostat, and send it to a pharmacy that compounds. hope this information is helpful! ## HOW CAN I ORDER SOME KETOSTAT. ## I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER KETOSTAT WHERE CAN I GET IT

I was on ortho prefest tabs for several yrs. for menapausal symptoms...went on natural compound creams which are no longer working...is ortho prefest still made? ## I'm not sure, I haven't found anything specifically saying that it's been discontinued, but some of these HRT medications are getting difficult to find due to the new laws. However, there are several generics available, so you should be able to find one that has the right combination of hormones and dosage to help you. Learn more HRT details here. Do you have a current prescription for it already?

I was on ortho prefest tabs for several yrs. for menapausal symptoms...went on nat. compound creams which are no longer working...is ortho prefest still made? ## I haven't found any information stating that Ortho-Prefest (estradiol + norgestimate) has been discontinued, so I'm led to believe that it's still readily available at your local pharmacy & with a valid prescription. Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, a Johnson & Johnson company based in Raritan, New Jersey, manufactures and markets medication with the same active ingredients as Ortho-Prefest; but lists them under different names such as: Ortho Tri-cyclen LO and Ortho Evra. Maybe you can contact them for more specific details on its availability, considering that they have similar brand names: janssenpharmaceutica...

Painathol-MC (EXTRA STRENGTH) Pain Relieving Cream / White Peppermint Oil. Taken for: Arthritis, Simple Backache, Strains National Drug Code: 64058-441 ## Thank you Felix for sharing this drug information on Painathol MC. From what I understand, it's a topic pain relieving cream containing a combination of Camphor (Synthetic) and Menthol. For anyone else who may be seeking additional information, the National Drug Code mentioned above goes into further detail (re: dosage, drug labeler, etc.). Does anyone know if this product is available over-the-counter or by prescription-only? ## Where or how can I buy Painathol MC ointment? I used to buy it at my Orthopedist's office, but they don't have it anymore. Thanks.

Received my first Prolia injection in June. I have osteoporosis of the spine and osteopenia of the hips. I am 62 and in good health otherwise, do not take any other prescriptions except for vaginal premarin cream. On November 3 for no apparent reason I had a stress fracture in the right foot below the outer ankle. It is still not fully healed, but is much better. A week after the stress fracture I did a slow motion fall, while hobbling around on a relatives driveway, hitting their mailbox post, (with not much force) causing a type II shoulder sprain which still has not healed. My general physician referred me to an orthopedic specialist on Thursday to see what is going on. My GP recommended not taking the second shot this December. The gynocologist is the prescriber of the Prolia. Will ...
