taken twice daily, ( my cousin is in india; and she's taking this...i don't know why...for the last few days she is acting strange...not normal...she remembers people n' things..but acts like well u can say her brain went about 10 yrs back..or smething..it's not normal..she talks weird, feels tired, says her stomach feels very tight, complains about certain things..asks wierd questions or says wierd stuff.....earlier she was stressed out cause she wanted to go out of country and was arrainging money....after she got a MRI sacn i believe..cause in her uterus there was something white...and when she was going home..on her way sitting in her car....thats when it all started.....what is wrong..she's been given mny medicines..and is getting scans..?) thnkz for your help! ...

I am a sufferer of Meniere Disease, i.e. sesorineurial hearing loss due to pressure increse in the inner ear. I was prescribed orinidazol for a tooth ascess that would not reply to clindamycin. My wife was suffering from gum problems. Dr gave her Metrogyl gel to apply to her gums. Now Metrogyl contains Ornidazole. After application for a day she complained of stomach pain. Can application of Ornidazole inside the mouth cause stomach pains? ## Metrogyl actually contains the active ingredient Metronidazole, it's similar to, but not the same as Ornidazole. i was using ornidazole as prescried for almost 3-4 years and has good results. I usually get stomach upset including IBS like, whicch was very helpful for me. subsequently when i took orni, suddenly i got black rashes of about half an inch dia, on my face, finger, chest, back and almost my body. doctor advised to discontinue. But lateron people used to say only my face is becoming little dark from fair. Is it due to Ornidazole Since there was skin reaction, i was advised to take NORFLOX 400.
