Orange Tablet Generic Adderal 30 Mg

I got my adderal prescription filled for 30 mg. Generally, I get the orange or pink ones, however, this time they are white octagonal. They seem to be very different and don't work as well for me. My usual pharmacy was out of the orange pills, forcing me to resort to the pink ones, a decision I regret and will never repeat. They're less expensive, which might explain why they opt for them. I've been on a routine of 30 mg twice a day for years and have never required an increase. Though there is another pharmacy within a 25-mile radius, I never felt the need to go there until now, realizing the pink generics are ineffective for my condition! I lack energy, struggle to focus, and am frustrated that I forgot how ineffectual these pink pills are for me. Despite taking three pills today, there was no improvement. I'm not seeking a high. I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. I live with a questionable character who I have caught red handed taking my meds from me. I am prescribed amphetamine salts 30 mg xr, generic for adderall. I have blue capsules that say adderall xr 30 mg on them but they have only white beads. Is this generic or brand? And how are these different from the orange 30 mg adderall xr with the white and orange beads? ## @Ricky, When you switch between different manufacturers, the only noticeable thing I'm aware of that actually changes are the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), so that could be one reason why the beads are different colors - different dyes? As to whether or not it's a generic or brand that you have, my research shows that the orange 30mg pill marked with "Adderall XR" is indeed a brand name and not generic.
