My pharmacy by mail sent me round orange tablets (7mm diameter, 2mm thickness) that were supposed to be 25mg of hydrochlorothiazide. They look like the last batch but the description on the label does not match the code stamped on the pills. The pills are plain on one side, with a scoring on the other for cutting in half. Above the score is capital I, and below the number 26. I have a pretty small round orange pill with an A on one side and blank on the other. I cannot fingure out what it is. There are no numbers on it. Does anyone know? Thanks! Pills marked with PZ (followed by a set of numbers) are commonly identified as Simethicone in varying dosages. Simethicone is used to alleviate bloating, gas, & stomach discomfort. Is each description intended for two separate tablets? While I haven't been able to locate any close matches, I can say that Actavis is more than likely the manufacturer who makes this. They embed a half moon (crescent moon) logo on many of their tablets, along with a set of numbers on the opposite side. this is round orange and S L on one side and i think maybe 550 on the other, it is worn and i really cant see much of the numbers besides the 55... please help me!!! ## Hi, Ray! How are you? The ones I did find that use the SL logo have both it and the numbers on the same side, so I haven't even been able to find a viable possibility, yet. Have a pill and don't know what it is. It is fairly small, light orange, round, scored on one side and just the number 5 on the other side. Any idea what it is? ## I'm not 100% certain, since the imprint is rather vague, but there is a 5mg Citalopram tablet that meets this description. The first is Bisacodyl (5 mg), which is typically prescribed for relief of constipation.
