Small round light orange pill with a fancy R on top and 127 underneath it, both on one side. What can it be? ## This is generic Clonodine 0.1mg. The brand name is Catapres. This is a medication used to control high blood pressure. My dr prescribed this pill and told me it's a sleeping pill to help me sleep better and relax but looking it up doesn't say anything about being a sleeping pill. So I'm just confused as to what it could be? ## Is the marking on it P 127 or R 127? what are the manufacuer marking ## Clonidine is a generic medication, which means that it is manufactured by several different companies, it is also available in several different dosages, so the markings will vary accordingly. There are far too many on the market for me to list them all here for you, but just to give you a few examples: Round, white, MYLAN over 186 is a 0.2mg tablet Round, orange, R over 127 is a 0.1mg tablet Round, tan, 2541 on the front, V on the back is a 0.1mg tablet Round, green, S over 265 is a 0.3mg tablet What are the markings on the tablet in question?

Are the Clonidine U-135 pill the same as the Clonidine R-127?? I got them from two different doctors and I wasn't sure if they were the same. They have a different taste. The u-135 are white ovals and are tasteless and the round orange R-127 have a horrible taste. ## Yes, they have just been manufactured by different companies, in this case Unichem Pharmaceuticals and Actavis respectively. The taste can just vary, depending on the inactive ingredients they choose to use in them.
