I need a new pain management doctor im orange county thats accepting new patients. My formal doctor is retiring without referrals...I've been taking oxycodone 30mg for 4 months now and im having anxiety knowin i have 3 months before my doctor retires...i need help and a way please provide assistance if possible. I've been stable on Morphine and Roxicodone for the past 15 years, I have Spinabifida and have been to every supposed pain clinic down here that I keep getting referred to. Back home a pain clinic was a pain clinic. I just moved to Orange County California from Florida a couple months ago. In florida I had been seeing a Pain management Dr for the past 5 years where I was recieving 150 Oxycodone 30mg and 60 15mg as well as some other Medications to go with it. Please dont comment and say I am looking for a specific drug and that's drug seeking behavior blah blah blah. I am just looking to find a dr that isnt going to try and tell me those medications are too strong and then have me waste my money and give me tramadol or something... I am 50 and work a hard labor job for 25 years. I am in chronic pain constantly. I want a better quality of life and to continue to work. I need a Doctor in Orange County, CA that can prescribe Norco for my pain. ## The main issue here may be due to the fact that you're asking for/looking for, a specific pain medication, especially one that contains a narcotic. My mother in law doctor retired and wrote her a script for a 30 day supply of 80 oc's and she can not get in to see her new doctor till july, she has a print out of six months showing that she has been on the meds, where in the Knoxville area is a doctor who will see her on short notice and refill her script for 30 days till she see's her new doctor? I can not bear to see her go thru withdraw ## It is going to be very hard to find a doctor to prescribe them as just a one time thing, with her not being their regular patient. I am currently looking for a new pain Dr. In the orange county, Ca area. I am 28 yrs old but been on heavy pain meds for 10 yrs now due to several accidents, surgeries and reconstructions. Last Dr had me on 180 30mg Roxie a month, 360 methadone a month and 60-90 2mg Xanax. I need to find a new Dr ASAP who will have no issues writing that for me every 4 weeks minimum. I actually use to be on much stronger meds and trying to find a local Dr. In OC, Ca somewhere who will happily continue my pain management and not turn me away because of the amount or type of meds I need. I have been prescribed 270 10mg. Methadone tabs for approx. 20 years after being diagnosed with Hep.C. After the orange wafers were no longer avaiable, the 10 mg. Tabs were prescribed instead. Had no problem getting them from local pharmacies, suddenly fri. my reg. pharm. stopped supplying it. Have no idea where to find them now. I need an idea of where I can get the script. I have been taking the QUALITEST 10-325 for pain I have incurred due to Scleroderma, Osteoarthritis, Raynauds, PPAH, ETC. When I went to pick up refill this month (November 3, 2014) I was told they could no longer get the QUALITEST and I was stuck with these pills manufactured by MALLINCKRODT. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!! The pill is white, oval shaped and the bottle says Norco 10-325 but I can guarantee you these are just compressed white powder. THEY DO NOT WORK at all.
