old man mixed up his pills and prescriptions and i don't know what is what! this is last one to identify. ## There is a KOS 1000 pill that I know of but it is more of a white to off-white color. Not sure exactly how orange the pill which you are describing is. An image of the one I'm talking about can be viewed here. If you have what I'm describing then it is Niaspan 1000 mg, which contains the active ingredient Niacin a.k.a. Vitamin B3. This is used for Niacin deficiency, as a treatment of high cholesterol, and a number of other conditions. You can read more about it at: Hope this helps! Let me know if this is the one...

Im Curious My Buddy Is Taking Some Orange Colored Round Pills With Sm On Them And Saying Its Dball Can Anyone Explain If It Real Or Not ## Although this pill isn't listed in any drug databases, from what I could gather on other sites, the orange pill marked SM is the "real" steroid Dianabol (methandrostenolone). Obviously I can't confirm this 100%, since my sources are from other users and not a database, but I found nothing that stated otherwise. I hope this helps!

What is the different shapes and sizes and colors of ms contin 100mg ## Hello, Kp! How are you? I'm sorry, but since this medication is available as both a name brand and a generic, there are far too many tablets available for me to be able to list the detailed information about all of them. Do you have a certain pill you are questioning? If so, please post back with its description and the markings on it and I'll gladly check for you to see what it contains. Thanks! ## I have a pill that was said it was a tamdol it 100mg and it shape as a oval color is orange but has no code on it ## I have a pill tamdol that was said it was a tamdol it 100mg and it shape as a oval color is orange but has no code on it

My roommate and I found a bag of pills on our other roommate's floor and we were curious about what they are... One is orange-peach in color and oblong in shape and has CIT on one side. The other is a small oval that is grey on one side and red on the other. P10 is on the grey side. Any information would be lovely. Many thanks, Kristen Toast. ## The faded looking orangish pill with CIT on it is a Citrucel Fiber tablet, meant to ensure someone gets enough fiber in a day and increase the regularity of bowel movements. The one marked P10 is a laxative tablet that contains 100mgs of Docusate Sodium. Are there any comments or questions? ## Congratulations on invading your roommates privacy, thinking they're a drug addict, when they have low fiber. Pathetic.

I've been searching my meds and I haven't cone across anything about the pills being orange But mine are? ## Is this a prescription from the U.S. or Canada? The U.S. 100mg Sertraline tablet, manufactured by Apotex is oval, it is described as yellow, but is a dark color, which many people perceive as orange and has the markings SER 100, divided by a score line on one side and APO on the opposite side. Colors can be subjective to the person looking at them and they can also vary due to anomalies in the manufacturing process, so it is really the imprint on the tablets that you need to look at in order to identify something.

orange, circular, n over 10 one one side and the other side is blank with a line in the middle so it can be split in half ## I'm not 100% certain but based on other pills I've seen with a similar imprint, I believe this pill is manufactured by Teva-Canada. You can try contacting them at the link below to see if this is one of their own, since they make a variety of pills marked with "N 10": tevacanada.com/contact-us.aspx Has anyone else here heard of or seen this pill before? ## An orange-colored, compressed tablet, engraved "N" and "10" on one side and scored on the reverse, contains 10 mg of propranolol; made by Teva. I agree with you 100% about them not seemig to work. I thought it was just me. I've been presiscribed for 10 years and the meds have always helped. They turned my life around. Until my pharmacy started carrying these weird crescent symbol 28 pills. I don't know what or why but they don't seem to work at all for me. ## I agree totally I have been on the 30s for years now and never had a problem. These do not work at all!! ## Concerning the differences in efficacy, my theory is that it's more than likely due to whatever discrepancies are found within the list of inactive ingredients, since that's usually the only thing that changes when you switch from one manufacturer's tablet to another. 100 mg of sertraline foil wrapper with the word SERTIMA 100 on it. the description on the back says sunset yellow but the color is orange. Please help ## As to what they actually contain, they do claim to be 100mgs of Sertraline, however, since this is not a U.S. product, I cannot confirm that. As to the color, they are always subjective, so it doesn't really mean anything. What one person sees as red, another can see as pink and etc. The sunset, many times, is an orange shade, what they name it really doesn't matter and is more than likely just a name they thought would be pleasant and appealing. Where were these obtained?

This is a round orange or peach colored pill with 277 on one side ## Hi Rex, I believe I located your pill to be Januvia (100 mg); which is an oral antihyperglycemic (anti-diabetic drug) of the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor class. NOTE: This pill is identified as brown and not peach. You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below: Learn More: Januvia Details If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## I believe that this is an older generic drug used for ADHD. No other markings other than 277 & is peach colored. ## The pill has a divide make in the middle. above it is an MP

What is this pill? It's large (looks almost like a vitamin in shape and size), "S" on one side, and "P" and "N" on other side with a score line down the middle. Kind of bright orange color. ## Hello, Jane! How are you? Since the imprint is rather obscure, I'm not 100% sure, but I think this might be a prenatal vitamin. I do remember finding one a couple years ago that used the P N on one side, but I'm drawing a blank as to whether or not it had an S on it. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? But that would also explain the size and bright color. The FDA notes that prenatal vitamins may cause nausea in some people that take them, due to their potency. ## Thank you for answering. However, that is not really a possibility with this person. Well, ther...

My toddler found an orange/brown oval pill marked 271 in a toy we had been given second-hand. He's played with the toy for about a year so I don't know how/when it got there. ## Hi Amanda, Unfortunately the closest match I can find with an imprint of 271 is a round pink pill, identified as Carbamazepine (chewable) 100 mg; used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. Manufacturer: Torrent Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 13668-0271 Is there perhaps any way that it might be pink in color as opposed to orange or brown? Hopefully someone else on here with this pill can offer their opinion as well. ## Hi. It's a generic Advil cold & sinus. More info at: chealth.canoe.ca/drug_info_details.asp?brand_name_id=4874. My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. Hope this is what you are looking for. ## Hi Candice, Can you please verify how you came to the conclusion that it's prednisone? I located an oval orange/peach-ish colored pill marked P100 with an NDC: 26637-253, that also came back as Carprofen. Pill Size: 19mm Packager: Putney, Inc. NIH.gov describes this medication as a...

It is a small round light orange pill with a fish symbol and a negative sign out to the side and on the other side is the numbers 717. ## Light Orange 717 On One Side And A Fish Symbol On One Side ## It is always fascinating to me how virtually anything from colors to logos are relative and may be interpreted differently by whomever happens to be looking at them. This is a great example of why, when someone posts including the color of a pill, I always check among similar colored ones, as well. This same logo has been interpreted by others to be an awareness ribbon, such as those used for breast cancer and AIDS. This pill actually has a stylized R logo on it, with the number 717 and it contains 100mgs of Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain...

What is this pill FR40 round pinkish /orange nothing on the other side can't find an ID for this pill? ## Hi Ann, Based on the imprint and color, there's actually three different medications that this round pink pill could be: Coldonyl (Acetaminophen 325 mg + Guaifenesin 100 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg) Acetaminophen 325 mg + Guaifenesin 200 mg + Phenylephrine 10 mg Emagrin Forte (Acetaminophen 260 mg + Caffeine 32 mg + Guaifenesin 100 mg + Phenylephrine 10 mg) Basically, no matter which pill it is, it does contain Acetaminophen + Guaifenesin + Phenylephrine, and may or may not contain Caffeine. Hopefully others on here have this pill and packaging in their possession for complete verification of dosages. I hope this helps in the meantime!

The pill is round, color is yellowish-orange. Imprint Q one side, 100 on the other. Cannot find the right pill anywhere. ## It is round but has bulging sides on either side with the imprint, not flat. ## I'm sorry, but I can't find anything that matches this description and marking, either. The most likely reason for that is because it's probably an over the counter product and those imprints aren't required to be logged with the FDA. Where did you find it? Your general location may help to narrow it down, since some products are regional. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I am in the Chicagoland area and was lead to believe it was a prescription. However, as always it could be otc with these things you never know until you have seen a confirmation via picture. ...
