I am 27 weeks pregnant, and have some urnie infection, my doctor has asked me to take this tablets but i want to confirm if they are safe to have during pregancy ## It is always best to take the medication your doctor has instructed you to take. i just came to know i am 3-4 weeks pregnant and i had taken opox 200 tablet twice a day for 5 days 2weeks ago without knowing i am pregnant as i had cold and soar throat .......will it affect my pregnancy or baby in any form? ## please cofirm with maternity doctors since you have took in pregnancy..don't take chance in pregnancy since lot of months are remaining ## From what I've found, Opox contains the active ingredient Loperamide, which is used to help prevent diarrhea.
