are the green Opana 20 time relesed if so how long does it take to kick in ## The green opana 20mg that are manufactured by Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. are extended released tablets. The length of time it takes to "kick in" can vary for each individual and is also based on whether or not you take it with a meal. Having it with fatty food may prolong the absorption time due to a slower metabolism. I would think that you should be able to notice it when the drug kicks in, do you not? I don't have any personal experience with taking opana, so I can only assume that you feel the narcotic effects when it is absorbed. I hope this helps!

Opana costs too much for the same thing that Oxymorphone does. Opana is about $500+/-, while Oxymorphone is $47. ## opana and oxymorphone are the same thing, and you can get high off it. Taking opana ER 5 mg and 5 mg opana for breakthrough is not really helping. Can I take tylenol as well? ## They can be taken together, unless you've been instructed not to mix them. I myself have been on opana for 6 years for pain and IR for breakthrough. So Idk what we are going to do now to answer your question though yes when first prescribed opana was also prescribed Vicodin for breakthrough.

The extended release ones are shaped like a stop sign with a number inscribed on them indicating the dosage in milligrams. For example, a yellow Opana with the number 40 on it is the 40 mg dose, green with 20 on it is the 20 mg dose, etc. There are also normal release doses in 5 or 10 mg. May of the year, I started the Opana ER 20mg and for me this has been wonderful. I was only able to afford oxycodone prior to the start of insurance in May. Been fighting a crazy battle with the oxycodone pain relief, cause the pharmacy keeps pushing KVK Tech product that doesn't work for me and has side effects. Can ms contin 100mg be taken with opana er 20mg? ## Well MS Contin contains the active ingredient Morphine. Opana ER contains Oxymorphone. The Oxymorphine is much more powerful and only requires a fraction of the dose that was being taken of the Morphine. Both are time released. They also share the same side effect profiles: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. My son is buying Opana off the street and is addicted to 3- 40 mg a day... I am 69 years old and have had a masdectomy (double) taking muscle relaxers and Norco for muscle/nerve spasms- He stills 20 of my Norco and Muscle relaxerd a day- either slling them or trading them for opana...
