The new gel opanas can not be crushed anymore which blows man. I need to know the best & fastest way to take a 60mg Opana intravenously. I'm prescribed Oxycodone IR 30mg so i don't know how to thin out the gel blob that results when u put water on it!! HELP! ## It is not safe to try to break down and inject any medication that hasn't been specially formulated to be used in such a manner. Is opana water soluble ## Not any more. They are made so you cannot dissolve and shoot. In July of 2012 they made them tamper proof just like the oxys. It will gel up. I imagine you could still eat a gelled up one, but it may be less effective. Most ways around this just ruin your pill, so take them as directed. ## The information provided by ZanZen is correct. In an effort to curtail abuse, as well as theft and diversion, the new Opana tablets have also been altered to help make them tamper/abuse proof. If you try to crush or dissolve them, they basically turn into a gummy goo. I know they gel up when u try to eat it .people say u can iv it and u can snort it but what is the fastest and easiest way to get high off these pills??? ## Although I'm not one to support this type of behavior, there are actually a lot of threads here in the forums that explain how to abuse this medication in pretty much every way you can think of (injections, snorting, microwaving, rectal/anally, etc). I've been on methadone for 13 years, for the last 4 years I've taken 30mg all at once in the morning everyday, during the day throughout the month a couple of times a month i would take 15mg of roxycodone for breakthrough pain, i would rub my voltaran gel on my neck,back,hip and legs(this gel works so much better than the Lidoderm patch) I would take soma to help my musles spams & xyanx to sleep. There are so many peoples statements that I have read saying the new don't work as well but yet Endo states their research don't prove that. The round white pil you are talking about with 262 on 1 side & what appears to be a crescent moon is a 15mg extended release oxymorphone "opana" which are definantly made everywhere in the united states! So it is a very common opiate. They are strong depending on your tolerence but would strongly suggest doing less if it's your first time trying them! They make several different ones such as round 5's, 10's & the round 15's with the moon. They also make 5mg, 10mg, 20mg, 30mg & 40mg opana ER which looks like a stop sign & different color for each different mg.
