I have an abscess .would it reduce the pain and swelling. ## Hi shazavier, Sorry to hear about your tooth abscess. From what I could gather, the red pill you're describing marked 44 291, contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug marketed for its use in treating mild pain and inflammation (swelling). So in my opinion, I don't see why it wouldn't be beneficial for such cases. However if you have truly been diagnosed with a tooth infection, this won't necessarily take it away; it will only mask the pain and swelling temporarily. Therefore you may also need to contact a doctor and see about getting prescribed an antibiotic to take along with the Ibuprofen. I hope this helps answer your question!

orange round pill 44 332 ## I cannot find an ID for this specific pill, however, I can tell you that those marked with a 44, followed by additional numbers are over the counter products. ## I've found them in the same bottle as the 44 438 Ibuprofen 200 in white tablet form. If you look at the label, it's orange and white, yet the label stated "color free & dye free". This was from lot #P33051 3/06. I've discarded these. My first thought when I opened the bottle: Apparently someone had a sense of humor and decided to package the contents to match the label of the bottle I found in my Grandmother's OTC supply. That's cool marketing. My Second thought: Hey WAIT! Which one do I take? Is one a placebo and the other one real? If so, why do they play games with ...

Is this pill anything like xanax? ## Not Really? ## Would 4 mg do anything for me? ## Yeah I got played.Thank you ## Hello I'm asking for a second opinion since I'm feeling sick and at work with out my xanax but I got a round white pill with imprint E 44. Does it have the same affect? ## Hi al, The white round pill you're describing is identified as Tizanidine hydrochloride 4 mg. This medication is in a class of drugs called muscle relaxants. Xanax on the other hand, is a benzodiazepine class drug, marketed for its use in treating anxiety and panic disorder. While it's quite possible for each drug to evoke 'similar feelings' (due to their properties), neither of them should have the same effect since they are different types of medications. I hope this helps!

Honestly these pills suck they are suppose to be for runny nose and cough but it is no help what so ever! They honestly do not help at all and there is nothing for you guys to say to change my mind ## I'm sorry you feel that way about this medication. In my opinion, a higher dose of Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine is probably in order. The one you have is only 200mg/5mg (a dose more suitable for kids). However I'm also finding it at much higher dosages of 600mg/20mg or 1200mg/25mg combinations. That's 4 to 6 times as potent as the dose you're currently taking. So you could end up changing your mind once you try a higher dosage, that's all I'm saying. I hope this helps! :)

What is this pill and what is it used for ## Hi Gloria, Any chance that your imprint says 44 235 as opposed to 44 236? Reason I ask is because I located an oblong blue pill marked with 44 235 on one side and blank on the other. It's identified as an over the counter Pain reliever PM extra strength tablet, containing 500mgs of acetaminophen + 25mgs of diphenhydramine. For verification, this particular pill also carries a National Drug Code of 59779-235 I hope this helps!

I found these on the floor in my room. I heard my kid say something about aquataphen (acetaminophen?). It reads 44-325 and is pink oblong shaped. ## Based on my research, this appears to be some sort of over the counter allergy/sinus medication. It reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. That said, in my opinion it's probably nothing to be overly concerned about with regards to general safety. I just hope people aren't accidentally taking them thinking it's pez candy or something else... Nevertheless, please post back if or when you're able to verify the pill identification.

Is this pill good for an allergic reaction that cause you to have hives that itch real bad ## Hello, Lesa! How are you? This tablet contains 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergic reactions, it's even the first choice used if you have a bad one and go to the ER. Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. However, it can cause some pretty serious drowsiness, so it shouldn't be taken at a time when you need to be alert, such as when you need to drive or operate machinery. You should also only take it, if your doctor says that it is safe for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

I can not find this exact pill anywhere. Does anybody know exactly what it is? It has 44 148 on one side and 500 on the opposite side and is a white round pill.
