Omnacortil Side Effects

I have gained 15kgs weight because i am using steroid for my neuro sorcodiosis problem. Now i am using omnacortil 7.5mg. Will these side effects (like puffiness in face and weight gain) will go off with 7.5 mg? Earlier i used higher powers of omnacortil. Now i am looking forward to get rid of side effects with the lower power of omnacortil. Is it true? Please suggest

i am taking omnacortile 5mg since last 6 years. I am 28 year old boy.I am suffering from Chikungunya (sever joint pains, mostly ankle, knees and wrist). My doctor suggest me to take omnacortil 10 mg (2 tables) for 10 days, then reduces to 1 tablet for next days and then half table for next 10 days...so a total duration of 30 days...
