i ever having back pain, AMA has precriped me pain killer Tab Moveace-SP and Omez-D SR, but while using pain killer tab, I felt to suffer with digestion problem, I am having always gastrics problem so just takes omez-d sr. Please advise me what i do and how much takes omez-d sr.

After the major surgery Of peptic ulcer bleed Pan D 40 was prescribed by the doctor along with medicines. what is the meaning of Dsr? ## I cannot find the specific words it stands for, but from what I did find, it appears to mean the same as CR or XR would, on US medications, meaning it is time released. Omez contains the active ingredient Ometpazole, this is a Proton Pump Inhibitor, used to treat conditions such as GERD and heartburn. What and how long we can use this n side effect of tab. ## I was advised Ctd.6.25 once daily bymy Doctor in Mumbai due to swelling in feet and lower legs in April this year. As swelling persisted with a little improvement I was advised to increase dose to 2 tabs of this medicine daily in 1st week of August which I am still continuing. The Swelling has gone down by 100% early morning but increases by 20/25% during the day. I also take 1.Rivaroxaban 15mg Once; 2.Dilzem SR twice; 3.Zilsar 40 once night time; 4.Aldactone once; Omez 20 once. Please advise further course of action. Thanks.

It is not a sulfur based medication, however, I don't know what the active ingredients are, though due to these types of allergies, they usually note any sulfur ingredients and warn about it. Can omez D be taken when liver enzyme is more? I have acidity problem I need to take omez d after every 3 days.. ## Hello, Shib! How are you? It can have adverse effects on the liver, so it may not good for you take it, if you have elevated enzymes, already. Other possible side effects can include full liver failure, as reported by the FDA, flatulence and stomach pain. The issue here is that these types of medications are not actually recommended for such long-term usage. Omeprazole and its relatives, are usually only used for 2 to 4 months, then discontinued, so they haven't actually been studied for their long-term effects.
