Omeprazole Cap Apo

I originally take OMEPRAZOL DR 40MG CAP APO. Now I take OMEPRAZOL DR 20MG CAP APO and it doesn't work as well as the 40MG CAPS... Can I take 2 of the 20MG CAPSULES? ## Hello, Arneta! How are you? Well, it is a lower dosage, so it's not going to work as well as the higher dosage did. It will take awhile for your body to adjust to the lower dosage. However no, you shouldn't raise the dosage again, without your doctor's approval. Long-term use of these PPIs risks hip fractures, according to FDA warnings. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Recently found out I have Celiacs Disease lots of info out there but I'm getting mixed answers on is Omeprazole 40mg gluen free? ## Omeprazole is a generic, so it is made by several different companies and the inactive ingredients can vary. 2 tone pink capsule (dusty rose/light pink) with the letters APO 020 ## This is Omeprazole Delayed Release 20mgs, a generic for Prilosec. Manufactured by Apotex with NDC code of 60505-0065. It reduces the production of stomach acid to help prevent or relieve acid indigestiong, heartburn and etc. Now, why can't everyone post a description as thorough as that? It makes my stomach hurt worse, what's the difference between this pill and Prevacid ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Prevacid contains the active ingredient Lansaprazole. The capsule in question is listed by Apotex as containing 40mgs of Omeprazole, which is a generic for Prilosec. Both, however, are the same type of medication. The FDA does list stomach pain as being a possible side effect of these medications, along with nausea, dizziness and flatulence. So, it could be that the Omeprazole is causing you more side effects than Prevacid did. Is there anything else I can help with?

one half is pink the other is white, it has APO on the pink side and 020 on the white side ## THIS IS NOT OXYCODONE! The capsule marked APO 020 is Omeprazole Delayed Release 20mgs. I checked several sources, and your capsule sounds suspect, the capsule with this marking should be pink and reddish brown, it does not have white on it. Here's an image for you: Capsule Image Omeprazole is a generic for Prilosec which helps prevent the production of stomach acid. There aren't any Oxycodone meds with that marking.

I need to make sure that the med i am taking is omaprazoline. it is a different color than the last ones. it is capsule form. two shades of pink. I take Prozac and I ran out of meds my pharmacy put this med in my bottle by mistake and I have done took 12 pills am I ok with this mix up not my fault theirs I have bad headache for awhile not I ask place tht messed my meds up she apologized and said tht it was to treat acid probs is this so thanks ## Hello, Annette!
