was the color of this capsule change from aqua mylan6150 to ku 118 white/brown ## Mylan 6150 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. Ku 118 is manufactured by Kremers Urban, and appears to be repackaged or distributed by a variety of other pharmaceutical companies. Even though the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, I don't think the company changed the color; it was simply manufactured by another company (as shown above), and that is why it is another color. Does that make sense? Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug. ## Supposedly, omeprazole is now otc. KU 118 mfrd by Kremers Urban is much more effective for me than other omeprazole formulas. Friend obtains it through the VA. Under wha...

Can ic omeprazole cause one's blood pressure to increase dramatically? ## Omeprazole is a Proton Pump Inhibitor, used to help reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces to treat conditions such as heartburn and GERD. That said, there is nothing listed about it doing this. It is always a possiblity, though, medications do affect everyone differently, but there is no way to say for sure. It can only be created in the presence of an acidic stomach. Reducing acid in the stomach definitely decreases nitric oxide production and, therefore, can increase blood pressure. See this page to see how reducing acid in the sto...

the difference in cr cap and ec caps of omeprazole ## Both of those are just abbreviations that designate them as being time released products, so there is no real difference. The CR stands for controlled release and the EC stands for extended control. Learn more Omeprazole details here. It would be much easier if there was just one standardized designation, such as ER or XR, but there isn't. There are several that can be used and the manufacturer is free to use whichever one their whim led them to pick. Is there anything else I can help with?
