please be extremely careful with this medication. I took two last night approx an hour apart and about 2 hours later I had to go to the hospital for severe depressed breathing among other things. ## Hi Matt, Thanks for sharing the warning on this pill. Tapentadol is a centrally acting analgesic; it has both opiod and non-opiod activities. my mother is suffering advance stage of parkinsons and had been operated DBS of this disease. dr. advised Syndopa 110 1/4 tds and pacitane 2 mg 1/2 tds and Ropark 0.25 mg bd but giving these doses she is reacting too much and if we do no give these doses she is becoming stiff and she is too much impetience on the bed then we give her Qutan 25 some times Qutan 50. Taken 50mg/day for 2 years with 20mg ameprozol. Last 2 months suffered the faintest tummy ache but it is persistent. Advised to take 40mg Ameprazol by one doctor and to replace with codeine by another. On either paracetamol or codeine after 4 days without diclofenac severe pain and joint stiffness returns. Seems life quality is dependent on Diclofenac so would it be safe to return to using it with the higher ameprozol dose? I've heard of one patient thing 60mg! ## Hello, Guess! How are you?
