My sister has symptoms from some drug she was on. Her hands and feet have very dry, deep cracks in them. She is been treated for high blood pressure and is allergic to sulpha. The drugs have been changed a few times. In January she was taking Olmetec and this is when the symptoms starting showing up in February. The doctor has prescribed Celexa to help calm her stress level in hope of lowering the blood pressure. She takes imovane for sleeping. Olmetec has talc, could these be causing her symptoms on the feet and hands? Or could it be something in shampoos or conditioners? ## If she is taking Olmetec plus (contains water pill), I found out the hard way, the water pill has a sulpha component. ## Hello, Brenalee! How are you and your sister? Contrary to what was already posted, Olmetec do...

I was using olmetec 20 and amlodipine 5 mg for my high blood pressure for the past 7 years. Now the cardiologist asked me change to civeram 10. After I take this I had recurrence of CSR eye problem and swollan ankle. Can I get back to previous medication. Tnx. Jahan ## Hello, Jahan! How are you? That is entirely up to your doctor. Why did he want you to switch? If the other medications were working, there is no need to change. Other side effects may also possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. You may also need a diuretic due to the swelling. What have your blood pressure levels been?

My husband is taking the following medications: Olmetec 40mg + Zanidip 10mg + Plavix 75mg + Lasix 40mg + Cartia aspirin 100mg; 1 each morning. He is also taking: 2 Panadol Osteo 5mg x 3 times daily + 1 Pregabalin 25mg + 1 Vytorin 10/40mg at night. All prescribed by his GP. He had a triple bypass in 2014; stents 1 in Feb, 2 in Nov 2016; Radical prostectomy for cancer in 2006; Radiation for secondary cancers in 2009; Neurosurgery for a subdural hemorrhage in 2013. He has had breathing problems and used inhalers off and on for 4 years (is now off these). He does have asbestos fibers in his lungs, but thankfully no major problems there. But he is having problems with tiredness throughout the day and is constantly sleeping. Is this due to the mixture of drugs he is on now?

i need to know what plavic is for ## Is plavic a blood thinner? or a bloodpressure tablet. I also take Betaloc and Olmetec. Had a few TIA,s I forgot which one is the bloodthinner, I am also on Actonel for Osteoporosis. Thank you, greetings. ## would plavic be a good rlacement for cumidin. I am having some trouble with my veins leaking ## Though often misunderstood, the medication name is actually Plavix and it contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel, which is used to inhibit blood clotting. Learn more Plavix details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and increased risk of bleeding. As to whether or not it can replace your other medication, they are not really the same, so you'd need to discuss that with your doctor. Are there any questions or comments?

My friend took 7tablets of 20mg olmetec last night. She's not even highblood. Just took for some unknown reasons. Now, shes suffering from headache and feels like to vomit anytime. What to do? Is it that dangerous? Is it serious?
