good day, can i have have a list of fish oil supplement that could be a good choice and as well as inexpensive and available in the philippines? i am 21 years old. thank you. ## I'm sorry, this site does not manufacture, nor sell any products. As to what might be available for you, I have no way of knowing that, since we are based in the U.S. I can tell you, however, from what my own cardiac doctor told me to purchase, that it is usually recommended to take 2000mgs a day and you should make sure that whatever you purchase contains at least 700mgs of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, both the EPA and DHA varieties. Have you tried asking a local chemist to recommend one? ## I am not a doctor but I recently switched to high dose DHA in fish oil. A serving should contain at least 500 mg of dha alone...

Mineral Oil Drug Index

Mineral oil is any of various colorless, odorless, light mixtures of higher alkanes from a mineral source, particularly a distillate of petroleum,[1] as distinct from usually edible vegetable oils. The name 'mineral oil' by itself is imprecise, having been used for many specific oils over the past few centuries. Other names, similarly imprecise, include 'white oil', 'paraffin oil', 'liquid paraffin' (a highly refined medical grade), paraffinum liquidum (Latin), and 'liquid pet...

What happen if I drink tea green oil ## Hi Marta, I'm not sure whether you are referring to Green Tea or Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca)? Can you elaborate a bit more on your intentions for drinking it as well? Like what are you expecting to happen? Both of these have a wide array of health benefits and Melaleuca oil is classified by the FDA as a GRAS Certified Food-Grade ingredient for consumption that includes preparations containing 25% or less of Melaleuca oil from both topical and ingested medicines. Please post back if you have any more information to add. I hope this helps!

Borage seed oil Gamma-linolenic acid, GLA

Borage seed oil is derived from the seeds of the plant, Borago officinalis (borage).[1] Borage seed oil has one of the highest amounts of γ-linolenic acid (GLA) of seed oils — higher than blackcurrant seed oil or evening primrose oil, to which it is considered similar. Can lvasa increase risk or cause Gout??? ## From what I am reading, the purines that are present in some types of fish, which can worsen or cause gout should not be in the purified fish oil that it is the supplements, so it should not be a problem to use them. Has your doctor advised you to do so?

Fish Oil ## For anyone else seeking information on this, the brand name was actually Lovaza, a prescription only, esterified fish oil product approved by the FDA to lower severely high triglyceride levels. This is not something available over the counter, since it is highly purified, very potent and has passed the rigorous FDA testing procedures. Are there any comments or questions about it?

I dropped my adderall in a bowl of olive oil and it's coated. Will it still work if I take it? p.s it's adderall IR, not XR ## In theory, I wouldn't think it would create any problems, but I'd suggest talking to your pharmacist to be certain. They often have more information on some obscure interactions that this site doesn't have. I am just basing my guess off the fact that there are no warnings between using it and eating products that use olive oil. The only issue I can really see with out information is if they pill was in it long enough to start dissolving, then you may not get the full dosage. Does anyone else have information on this?

While borage, evening primrose and black currant are well known GLA sources, GLA safflower oil delivers the most potent concentration of GLA available. With 400 mg per gram, it is twice as concentrated as borage and four times as concentrated as evening primrose. ## Hi Ardbeg, Thank you for providing that information. For those who don't know, GLA stands for Gamma-linolenic acid which is an omega-6 fatty acid that can help reduce inflammation and cell growth. The body uses GLA to produce prostaglandins (hormone-like substances that aid the regulation of the immune system). GLA can be used to treat or prevent a variety of conditions, including: rheumatoid arthritis allergies depression chronic fatigue syndrome psoriasis eczema (and other skin related issues) metabolic syndrome high c...

But now I've had it 7 days in a row. Idk what causes it I've been fighting it for a year now. I'm wondering if anyone's had any luck with hemp oil. I don't live in a state where marijuana is legal or I'd be tempted to try it. I feel like I'm missing out on my life. ## I had no luck with hemp oil, but we are all different, and some people swear by it. The only way to know if it will help you is by trying it. The ones I tried also tasted awful. LOL Ref: Hemp Oil Information I had a little more success with CBD oil. Is that available where you live? Have you tried keeping a diary of your ...

I use to get energy using coconut oil capsules. My second bottle had a broken capsule in it and the oily inside got over the capsules in the bottle. Would this make it less effective? ## Hi Brenda, I enjoy using coconut oil for several purposes as well, including energy and various medicinal applications. Raw coconut oil is the best in my opinion since it still contains all the necessary enzymes and other beneficial factors... so as long as you're not cooking it over a certain temperature, the oil will maintain its nutritional and medicinal value whether you put it inside or outside of a capsule. The presence of a capsule should not determine the effectiveness/quality of the coconut oil. I hope this helps!
