On Emsam patch(also metformin, lyrica )and absolutely beat whenever I move around feel good when resting? ## Hi Carr, It sounds like what your experiencing is probably just a side effect from one or more of your medications. Based on my research, The US National Library of Medicine shows that Metformin can cause "unusual tiredness or weakness" as a possible side effect. Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMHT0011121/?report=details#side_effects And although it's considered to be rare, Lyrica actually lists the same thing under the following page: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0046069/#DDIC601627.side_effects_section I wonder if that has anything to do with how you're feeling when you are active vs stationary. However, it may also be a good idea to discuss this with you...

I have not taken my cit. For three days of experimentation and it is not good. Low focus, anxiety, tired (sleep great tho) and dizzy and headache. Will get back on it tonight. ## HI, Charlie! Are you feeling any better? These types of medications that act on brain chemicals should never be stopped abruptly, because doing so will usually cause withdrawal and rebound effects. Learn more Citalopram details here. If you want to stop taking one, it's best done on a very slow tapering schedule supervised by your doctor.

i have been on methadone for 3 weeks and have just been kicked off for missing it 3 days in a row!! can this be done, is this the way chemists are told how to opperate??? ## Such practices are often done for several reasons. One would be if they were giving you the medication and a test showed that you have not taken it for those days. In this case, they have to worry that the person is selling it. Another would be if it is a limited program and you are taking up the spot that may be used by someone else in need. If you didn't need it for 3 days, they can only assume that you are not in any danger without it. And yes, they can do this, nothing obligates them to treat you or give you a medication, if you are not in emergency status. What reason did you have for missing 3 days?

I was on 75 for over 9 years with still getting pain even with changing patch everyother day yeah know it's a three day patch. May of this year started with acupuncture dr three times a week. Started weaning self off the drug by delaying the changing of the patch. It is now August and happy to say since middle of July done with fentanyl. Yes still have pain but trying to just take two Tylenol or a percoset one if really can't stand it, I change positions more when sitting, walk as much as possible ## Sounds like you're doing everything right! :-) In many cases, people that suffer from chronic pain get very sedentary, not realizing that it actually makes their pain much worse, because joints stiffen and unused muscles begin to atrophy. Getting more exercise can greatly improv...

I have been on viibryd for one pack. I just refilled the 40 for the.next time. At the beginning it was good until I got to 40.now all I do is cry all day long every day. I pray and pray for the crying to go away. I want off viibryd asap. What is the best wayto go?. I could taper a little or a lot because I haven't been on it that long. And then just stay on the Xanax. What does anyone think? ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. Although I would personally suggest that your doctor be the one who monitors you...

i take 0.5 milligrams of klonopin a day how would i wean off this drug ## CALL A PHARMACY! . . .can I assume that you are not under doctor's care? This category of medicine has serious withdrawal symptons. As with some tapering, the pills are so small and hard to cut. If I were you I would cut into 4 pieces, mix with something like applesauce. Take 1/2 approx for approx 3 days, then take 1/4 for apprx 3 days. Stop and see if you are experiencing any bad withdrawal reactions. (. . .in addition, this drup impaired my motor skills and immediately, under doctor's care, changed to something else.) Check without it for apprx 2-3 days; if you're okay, you're weaned. If you are switching from one drug to another in the same class, that won't be hard. You're right to chec...

It has been 5 days since I had any and weaned before that. I STILL feel like my body is made of lead. I'm so close but can't handle this lack of energy and my legs hurt..... I'm so tempted to call the doctor for an appointment to get back on. Any suggestions? Kerago is a rip off!!! I ordered the product online while serving in Afghanistan, the product came after 14 days on top of that I was unaware I was going to be charged $87 if I did not cancel within the 14 days. The first day I stayed on hold for nearly one hour, I don't have that kind of time and the operator on the phone was very rude and disrespectful. Don't waste your money or time on this company. ## @Soldeir, Sorry to hear about your experience with Keragro. I don't know if you've seen any of the other Keragro Related Discussion Threads on this site, but several other people have been scammed through this company as well. Fortunately there are some things you can do to prevent them from making additional charges to your account. One suggestion is to contact your ba...

I was diagnosed with angiosarcoma on my nose and was on Votrient for 40 days. Angiosarcoma on the nose is rare. The surgery can be very radical. I had many rough side effects (whacked my thyroid) and felt horrible on the drug. Recently a punch biopsy was performed reflecting no angiosarcoma. My oncologist and surgeon are very pleased (as am I) but they want me to go back on Votrient for an additional 4 months and re- biopsy. Has anyone had a successful on and off Votrient protocol?

Hi there I am 22 years old I have been on epileptic medication and anti depressants for 12 years as I had a brain tumour at the age of 9. I am suddenly having concerns about the medication I am on, I was on Epilem for several years for the epilepsy, until I was changed to lamictin about 10 years ago. I've been on many anti depressants as well as Concerta and Ritalin as I was once diagnosed ADHD. Now all I have been taking for the past 8 years have been Lamictan and Cipralex. However over the last year I went on the generic Epetic and I stopped taking cipralex this year as I had a spiritual awakening and found the need to try cure it on my own as I have been on so much medication that I feel my body wants to become addicted to it. I now have just started a more generalized anxiety pi...

Anyway, The new deal prodrug drugs, like patches with long active fomulas and more effective. You cannot inject them or swallow them after crushing a patch.. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? No, Focalin is still available in the U.S., it is now classified by the FDA as a schedule 2 drug, due to its abuse potential. Focalin contains the active ingredient Dexmethylphenidate, it is most commonly used to treat ADHD. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness and weight loss. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was on Propranolol 80mg extended-release tablets for 2 days for my anxiety. I know it's bad to suddenly stop taking beta-blockers, but I had to because my heart rate was too low and I felt horrible. I was told by a doctor that I should be ok to just stop altogether. I really just wanted some reassurance. Will I be ok? I stopped about 2 days ago, and my heart rate seems fine. ## OMG story of my life! I was prescribed Propranolol 80mg for anxiety also and just stopped taking them cold turkey 2 days ago because it was lowering my blood pressure and heart rate way too much, making me dizzy/light headed, etc. I feel awful right now, I have a headache, weird heart palpitations/fluttering, weakness, fatigue, sweating, etc. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I'm going to speak t...

im traveling 13 days later the time of my period so i took 9 Ovocept HD tablets but some acne appears on my face i quit after 9 days.when i will be period.i dont want to be period durin my holidays.please answer thanks ## Hi taraneh, Just so you know, acne is a common side effect of most oral contraceptives and is likely a result of changes in your hormone levels. As far as the timing of your period is concerned, I don't mean to be sarcastic about it, but your menstrual cycle doesn't adhere to specific holidays/vacations in order to take time off. However, some gynecologists might recommend taking the tablets in a particular way so that it deviates from the normal cycle. But there's really no telling when it will come again after that. I'd just recommend talking with you...

Hi I take itraconazol 100 mg, two of them in the evenings, after dinner.I have been on it for three months. Some mornings I wake up with extreme nausea and other mornings not so! Can itraconazol cause nausea on and off or if the medicine is the culprit, would I have nausea every morning? Thanks for your thoughts. ## Yes, it can cause nausea like that, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may possibly include dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. It can also depend on when you take and what you take it with, such as on an empty stomach, or etc. Are you on any other medications?

I was arrested for a DUI due to benzos. I was measured at 11 ng/ml with metabolite. They also listed many benzos that I don't take. What is the legal cut off to not be driving in CA ## Hello, Suzi! How are you? I'm sorry about what happened. However, when it comes to medications, there really ins't a cut-off, per se, it's more based on whether or not the driver seems impaired. That's why they usually carry the warning to not drive, or operate heavy machinery, until you are certain how they affect you. The FDA classifies this as a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been a pharmacist for 45 years and remember when this medication retailed for twenty dollars for 100 tablets, now one thousand dollars. Something is really wrong here. There's no reason for such an over price for this medicine. Seems like collusion between the FDA and big pharma to ripoff the patient. Don't trust either one. Just another example of greedy pharma. ## A new company has bought out the original mfg. This company thinks it can rip people off by charging ten dollars a pill. Don't let them do this to you. Write your congressman and let them know what this drug company is doing. They prey on very sick people with no care for the patient. ## I have been successfully using Donnatal grape elixir for decades for static esophogeal spasm, and have not been able to ...
