My generic Fioricet, BUTAL/ APAP/CAFF 50/325/40 is not covered by my Medicare Part B. A couple of months ago it SKYROCKETED from a $25-35 for 100 to over $70!!! Pharmacist said they raised price "because they could"!!! My Social Security is so low ( and my ONLY source of income), that increase devastates my monthly budget! Dr.s have tried other meds over the last 30 yrs., however, NONE have worked as well as this. I've been getting Teva 10mg blues in the central belt of Scotland. I am prescribed Actavis 5mg valium from my GP and get 70 5mgs a fortnight, or 35 a week, 5 a day. I've NEVER seen or been prescribed blue actavis and the people I know who work in the pharmacy have told me that they give out Teva for 10mg recipients. However, I take 14 of these Tevas and feel the same gouch on them as all other real blues.....I really think the Activas are snides and would stay well clear of them, Teva tastes, dissolves and react identical to the pharma ones. ...

my son has diagnosed depression ans periniod scofrania and bypolar he went to the crisis unit at the hospital and they put him on valium and i was in charge of them but he found them and took 60mg instead of the 10 percribed which would of made it 70mgs for the day do you think they help his mood which has been beter or is a sign of drug addition ## I think Valium is a wonder drug.
