I have been taking Cmbalta for aout a year and have been experienceing a really bad, almost salty taste in my mouth for just about the same length of time. Has anyone out there had this same problem? My dentist says that there is nothing he can find, so I am hoping that someone can help me out. Please also let me know if you have experienced this same effect with other antidepressents. I take several and maybe it's one of those. HELP! I am just about at the end of my rope. Thanks to all, Paula ## Actually this is not really caused by the meds themselves, or any one in particular, it is caused by a very common side effect you experience from them. I was having a similar problem and thought it was a very odd side effect, then I started researching some info, and I discovered that the ...

My 6yr old son was recently diagnosed with ADHD and ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) I am unsure whether to try meds for it as they are so strong and classed as stimulants and he is so young but his behaviour is negatively impacting on all areas of his life. Can people please share their experiences of using ADHD or ODD meds? Or do you know of anything else that would help him. I just want him to be the best person he can be. I have tried behaviour management with limited success and he won't co-operate with seeing a psych. He doesn't co-operate at school or home. ## If your son truly has ADD or ADHD then putting him on medication is really the best option. I have Adult ADD and have experienced a significant impact on my life when I am not on the medication. There are many d...

I have a white oblong shaped pill scored to break into 2 large chunks on the ends and 2 smaller in the middle. the number 718 is written on it and it looks like an M or W logo...any ideas? ## Is there a chance that the marking is 713 instead of 718? I think I located a match, but the marking shows 713 W (it is also white and oblong). The number 3 can appear to be an 8 in some cases, so I thought it would be worth a shot. The pill with this marking is identified as Cefprozil (500 mg). It is used to treat bronchitis, ear infections, skin infections, and other bacterial infections. If this doesn't sound like the pill you have, please post back and I'll try searching other sources.

Lyrica can cause odd actions of a person, not being able to say words correctly, falling, and other strange behaviors. My husband did take it, but the doctor stopped it so that we can see if it is the cause of the problems. ## Those are listed as some possible side effects that you should see your doctor about ASAP! Looks like you probably did the right thing. Here's the prescribing info: Lyrica Click Here

Since starting on Jardiance, my urine after my morning dose has an odd odor like the odor from new vinyl seats in a car. ## It would be best to inform your doctor, since Jardiance has been known to cause both ketoacidosis, and urinary tract infections, as side effects. Ref: Jardiance Information Many medications, and foods, can change the smell, or color or your urine, but it is always best to seek advice from a medical professional to be sure. Are you on any other medications?

Hello, I been taking Ketorolac for about 1-1/2 days and I've be over salivating a lot. And I mean a lot. Every few minutes or so, and I'll have a mouthful. I can't sleep because of it. Is this a side effect? ## Based on my research, there aren't any listed side effects pertaining to an increased secretion through the salivary glands. The only two remotely similar side effect listed for this drug are "sores in the mouth" and "sweating". However I wouldn't doubt it if Ketorolac has some effect on your saliva as well. From what I've read, these types of medications are also known for causing excess stomach acid (symptoms of acid reflux), which in and of itself can have an impact on how much saliva you produce. Aside from changing medications, a simpl...

Hello, I been taking Ketorolac for about 1-1/2 days and I've be over salivating a lot. And I mean a lot. Every few minutes or so, and I'll have a mouthful. I can't sleep because of it. Is this a side effect? ## It isn't a normal side effect, but what may be happening is the Ketorolac may be causing some excess stomach acid and if that is causing GERD, it could be what's causing you to produce so much saliva. You can learn more Ketorolac details here. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and they are well known to cause an increase in stomach acid and to cause stomach irritation. I'm not a doctor, so you should check with your doctor before doing anything, but the solution may be as simple as adding an antacid, such as Tums. Have you been making sure to take i...

This pill is light purple and round. It doesn't have anything on one side, but the other side has something that looks like a M with a couple of extra lines between it. It's kind of like this: /ll\ Please help! I have looked everywhere trying to find what it is. ## Based on your description, I get the sense that the logo might be associated with Actavis or Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. I've been on this site for a long time and remember seeing someone else post about this exact pill a long time ago. I don't recall which manufacturer it was who made this pill, but I do believe the two that I mentioned above are strong contenders judging from the logo. You could try contacting them directly to see if it's something they make? If anyone else here happens to recognize th...

Ordered Femara(letrizole) from UK. I received odd shaped white pill with v design on one side and scored on other side. Im just skeptical as to what this really is?! It also came in a packaged marked "Bone Strength." Maybe just to pass customs?? Not sure....any help would be awesome! ## Hi, Gypsy! How are you? I tried doing some searching for this, but I'm not finding anything. Did you try contacting the place your ordered from to ask them about it? Does anyone know anything about these? I'll keep searching and post back, when I have information for you.

This is supposed to be clonazepam. It tastes more like xanax, but dissolves very quickly. Same basic effect as weak/cheap clonazepam. I need an identification for sure, a picture definitely. ## @Annabelle, As of yet, the closest match I'm finding is a white round pill imprinted with "S" on one side and scored once on the other side. This particular pill is identified as Serophene 50 mg; used primarily in the treatment of female infertility. I know you mentioned that your pill had 4 score lines as opposed to 1. Perhaps this can at least help narrow down your search. I do wonder though if the "S" or "Z" logo you're describing is actually depicted as something else in search engines, since my options on Google didn't match up. Has anyone else seen this p...

Odd shaped longer on one side d32 imprint ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a tiny odd green color tablet, one side has a half mark and the other side has the letters SENTILAX on it. I was given this at a mexico pharmacy for constipation. ## Did you perhaps mean to say "Gentilax" as opposed to Sentilax? Gentilax is a laxative drug manufactured in Mexico; used to treat constipation. It is said to contain 60mgs of Phenolphthalein; a homeopathic agent. The oral recommended dose is one to two laxative tablets, but its capacity is adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount. I hope this information helps! ## Gentilax is definitely a laxative tablet. It does indeed have a line on the back of it that you can use to cut the tablet in half. This is useful if you need to take a dosage of a tablet and a half of it instead of two tablets.

Round white pill. It has an odd symbol on one side that almost looks like pacman lol. On the other side it has a capital "C" with "30" underneath it. It's in an unmarked bottle that I found so I'm really curious as to what it is. Someone please help me identify it as I cannot find anything about it anywhere. ## Just found the exact same pill. The symbol is like a strange retro 9. Did you ever find out what it was? Related posts seems to suggest the C 30 could be for 30mg codeine?

I was taking Adderal IR with good, but odd results. Crash worse on 10mg twice a day than on 15 or 20. No irritability at 10, but frustration at 15 and very irritable at 20. Doctor put me on Adderal XR. Benefits seem much less...even feeling depressed today (the Adderal has really kept anxiety and depression in check), but very irritable. I don't crash like IR (sometimes even getting sleepy at 5), but I don't have the drive to get things done either. And irritability is very noticeable, sometimes pretty bad. Two weeks now and if anything, getting worse. Anyone else have these experiences? ## Hello, James! How are you? It may take a month or so, for your body to get used to the medication, so some of the side effects wear off and it reaches its full therapeutic level in your body....

blue oval pill ## Narcotic pain medication come in odd mg. doses like 22 mg. very addictive ## No, there is no Norco available in a 22mg dosage. It contains Hydrocodone, and Acetaminophen, it is narcotic analgesic and its most common side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache, according to FDA reports. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. The strongest dosage available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. What are the markings on the tablet in question?

FOUND A ROUND WHITE PILL HAS A ODD SHAPE V ON ONE SIDE BUT THE NUMBERS ON THE OTHER SIDE ARE WORN OFF. ANY IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE. ## It's difficult to say without knowing the numbers, actually. The V logo is used by Vintage/Qualitest pharmaceuticals and they make quite a few generic medications and it is only the numbers that would enable us to identify it. Learn more prescription drug details here. Where was it found? That may also help to narrow it down.
