They are generic oxy's ## Hi Biff, Are these pills manufactured in Canada by chance? I can't seem to find any specific details on them here in the US, so I can only assume that that may be the case. I know Purdue Pharma manufactures round green pills imprinted with OC on one side & 80 on the other side; which are 80mg Oxycontin tablets. But this is the closest match I can find to your description. If you have any more details to share that would be great. I recently got 80mg OC OxyContin that are green but they do not help me at all, it's almost as if they were fake. Does anyone know about them? Are the OC coming back? I need to know right away! If that's what you have, they are either fake or extremely old and have lost efficacy, as medications tend to do over time. The FDA classifies Oxycontin as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I came across some green pills that look like OC 80's but they are imprinted with APO on one side and OCD 80 on the other. Can someone please tell me what they might be? ## I have tha same ones. Pill is the same color all the way through! Never saw this with a Oc, Abg, or the CDN's years ago but I think they might be fake! Can u help me find out please! ## A person I know has the cdn green all the way through. They are and are not fake. To explain...there is an active opioid ingredient usually fentanyl or some benzodiazepine combo. Some actally contain oxy as well. The real ones just like usa made are white after removal of coating.....still worth it for most people ironically. I recommend not taking something you are not sure about for sake of harm reduction the ones I have seen.....today are still worth it. New England area near Canadian border. I have used lots of op 40, 60, and 80s and we all know they are chewy and are hard to abuse. Well it's been awhile since I had a real oc 80 and I can't remember what they taste like. Are the chewable? The ones I cam across say oc on one side and 80 on the other. They are a greenish color. Are they real or fake? ## That is the correct color and marking of the genuine Oxycontin 80mg tablet. Hospitals and pharmacies are allowed to continue to dispense them, until their supply is exhausted, at which time they will also be forced to switch to the new formulation. On top of that, with all the diversion that occurred due to theft, I am sure they will still be found on the streets for a long time to come. Are there any other comments or questions?

It is possible that it is something available over the counter or it could be a foreign medication. How can I tell if oc 80 is real? ## Hi Misti, If you could provide the imprint(s) on the tablet, along with a physical description of the pill (color, shape, etc), then I can help you determine if it's real or not. I have seen a round green 80mg Oxycodone tablet with the imprint: M 596; and another round green one with the imprint: ABG 80; and one other that is oval and green with an imprint of: 33 93. While I'm sure there are a few others out there besides these three that are 80mg doses, once you post back with more details, we can narrow down the search. I hope this helps!

I am wondering if anyone has seen an oxy that looks the same as an 80 but says w80 on one side and oxy cr on the other. It's the same color green but thinner than the old ones. I was told the old ones were coming back, but I wont take anything that im not 100% sure of. I googled everywhere and i cannot find anything on these pills. I'm in canada if that helps. ## They are made by cobalt, check their website. green oval 80 on one side ex on other ## The pills with the marking of EX 80 were actually a time released formulation of Oxycodone from Mexico and they have been discontinued and were illegal to have in the U.S. In the U.S. the only product that is now available is the new Oxycontin OP, the reformulation from Purdue. I have had many op 40, 60, and 80's and if you have had ops at all you know they are chewy and take awhile to kick in. Well I came across some oc 80's and it's been so long that I don't remember what they taste like or if they are easily chewable or what they taste like. They are green round and say 80 on one side and oc on the other. The look just like the op except they say oc instead of op. Are they real or fakes. They honesty look real burin not sure. Any advice would be helpful. I've never posted to any site so I guess if you have advice I'm open to any help. OC ONE SIDE OTHER 80 GREEN ROUND PILL ## I can't post a picture for you, due to copyright reasons, however, I can confirm that a pill meeting this description, with those markings is an 80mg Oxycontin tablet. This is the original Oxycontin product. Purdue has recently changed the Oxycontin formulation, to help prevent abuse and the new pills have an OP on them and they have discontinued manufacture of ones with the OC on them. These pills are green with no imprint whatsoever. Blister packaging matches Apotexs' exactly. Anyone out there know anything about these? ## This sounds like a sure counterfeit if you ask me. The fact that it has no imprint and is actually trying to represent itself as something legitimate, is enough of a red flag in my opinion. is there a red 80 mg oxycontin capsule ## There are no Oxycontin capsules, Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the narcotic Oxycodone and the time release form is only available as tablets, which are manufactured by Purdue Pharma. The original tablets had the marking of OC on one side and 80 on the other, while the new replaces the OC with the letters OP, they are both round and green. In addition, the only 80mg dosage available in the time released, with the markings that I mentioned above. Are there any other questions or comments?
