I need to know if oxycodone (manufacturer QLT) is gluten and soy free. ## Hi Bella, According to nih.gov, oxycodone made by QLT Pharmaceuticals has been reported to contain the following set of inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone sodium starch glycolate stearic acid NOTE: the 15 and 30mg tablets also have yellow and/or blue dye. Most of those ingredients seem fine in terms of not being associated with gluten or soy. I REALLY need to find a dr here in upstate north/south Ca1rolina around the Boiling Springs, Spartanburg area to prescribe me my pain meds! I just moved here from Arkansas and was on my 30mg oxy 5x daily and I've already had a seizure because I only have like 4 left and I wanted to preserve them.. I have a blue and green capsule that I was told it was a 30 mg oxycodone pill is this blue and green capsule a 30 mg oxycodone pill. ## Hi sue, Do you have any sort of imprint or marking on your blue and green capsule? If so, I may be able to do some research on whether or not it contains oxycodone and what the dosage might be. I live in Jacksonville Florida and have been on Oxycodone HC 30 mg for about 4 Years and never had any problem getting them filled. But Know in the last Year it is so hard to get them filled. Can someone tell me a good place to get them filled. And why is such a problem know? ## Several issues arose in Florida and the biggest one that I think has been affecting the supply is that most pharmacies were found to be ignoring the laws that state how much they can order and keep in stock each month. I was told by a pharmacist that the manufacture's are trying to alter the drug. The goal by the DEA or the manufacturer is to prevent the selling of the drug on the streets. ## The current difficulty in obtaining the medication actually has nothing to do with attempts to alter it. Depending on whether you filled a script at a licensed pharmacy, received a pain pill at a hospital, or obtained it through other means, the answer to this question should be pretty obvious in that licensed pharmacies and hospitals usually dispense identifiable tablets. the best thing to do is ask for the name brand form of the pill.roxxicodone and not the generic and go to a big corperate pharmacy not a mom and pop shop ## I have seen a bunch of the darker blue K-9s here in Florida lately too and I think they are fake also. There are a ton of fake pills going around now. ## To those who are constantly at risk of taking fake meds, the best way to avoid this is by obtaining a valid prescription through your doctor and to get it filled at a licensed pharmacy. I got k,9 it's a darker blue than whawhat I've seen before are these real or fake ## @the crazy one, I believe the only honest way to know for certain that what you have is real (outside of getting it analyzed by a lab) would depend upon whether you got it filled at a real licensed pharmacy and not by some other means. Legitimate pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, although sometimes manufacturers have been known to alter the color of their pills without giving any prior notice to patients. So that's something to keep in mind as well. Need to order.....ASAP !!! ## @Tivomama, If you have a true legitimate need for this medication, I have to wonder what's holding you back from just going to see a doctor and obtaining a valid prescription? When you try to order meds like this from off the internet you're not guaranteed to get what you pay for anyways, kinda like taking a shot in the dark. Better to play it safe and at least get something for your pain rather than a pill with unknown ingredients (because they don't always use imprints/markings for ID'ing it) or in some cases, nothing at all (because customs got to it first and will likely send you letter in the mail or appear at your door step to confront you about the felony). Does anyone know what a lime green, unmarked capsule is? However, we can rule out its being a legal U.S. prescription medication, including Oxycodone, since they are all require to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Roxicodone, which contains Oxycodone is a narcotic and thus, a controlled substance, so even if you have a prescription, most mail order pharmacies do not provide it, due to the risk of theft and abuse.
