I've been taking these for nearly 15 years. When the FDA changed the amount of acetaminophen in the pills to 325 or 300 mg (they lowered it, in any case) the manufacturer, since the amount of acetaminophen was changed, used it as an opportunity to say it is no longer a generic so... I no longer take fioricet. I now take butalbitol/caffeine/acetaminophen. If I ask my insurance for Fioracet it costs $350 a month for 60, the B/C/A costs $35.. go figure BUT my main problem is this: the old tablets I got were Qualitest, they were round and greenish blue, they were no problem! HOWEVER, now I am getting some large oblong white caplet that is so chalky I regularly choke on them. At least once a week one stops in my throats and it takes a while to get it down. A few weeks ago one stopped rig...

white oblong and one side is blank and on the other side says MIA then a line then says 1110 ## I cannot post pics of all tablets that contain this combination, since it is a generic, there are far too many on the market. The tablet you have marked with MIA 110 is not a generic for VIcodin and does not contain any type of narcotic. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine, the active ingredients in Fioricet, which is most commonly used to help treat migraines. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and stomach irritation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

white oblong tablet, line through middle, IMI on one side of line, 110 on other side. Was told by pharmacy is hydrocodone ## Ah, okay, this one took some hunting, mainly because the imprint is blurry and hard to make out, it is actually MIA 110 and NO! IT DOES NOT CONTAIN HYDROCODONE! Whatever pharmacist told you that did not know what he was talking about. These tablets contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine, they are a generic for Fioricet, most commonly prescribed to treat migraine and tension headaches. The Butalbital is a barbituate, but there are not narcotics in these tablets. Some common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and shortness of breath. Does Mikart make a generic Fioricet? I know they stopped making it for awhile, but they definitely worked the best for me. Hopefully, they will again!! ## Yes I was getting that same generic for Fioricet and had the MIA on one side and 110 on the other I believe those worked very well it seems like every time something works well they take it away ## Is Mikart still making the generic Fioricet 110? My pharmacy says it can no longer get it. ## Hi Dee, yes they do. It's a white oblong pill that says MIA on one side and 110 on the other side. That pill worked the best for me as far as any generic for Fioricet; and the Mikart brand is so difficult to get. They actually sold it to another company. If you need further details I can give you the company’s name and they will find a lo...

I can no longer get blue Westward 787 Fioricet. I bought Vantage 2355 but it makes me feel awful and does not help my headache, but creates a more intense one. What to do? Is there another pill similar to Westward 787? ## Hello Bird, Unfortunately there is no way to know for certain which generic will work best for you until you keep testing out different ones. Different manufacturers use different "inactive" ingredients, which may cause reactions similar to the one you've experienced with the generic Fiorocet from Vantage. Have you tried the generic Fioricet from Mikart Inc.? They manufacturer an oblong white pill with the imprint MIA 110. It is scored down the middle and blank on the other side. This pill contains (325 mg) of Acetaminophen, + (50 mg) of Butalbital + (40 mg...

What markings does the Fioricet/Butalbital have on the white tablet and who is the manufacturer? I can not take the blue tablet form as something in it makes me ill. Thank you. ## Fioricet contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine, it is most commonly used to treat migraines. These are several white tablets on the market, since it is available as a generic and I can pinpoint any specifically, since you didn't list your dosage. I also don't have a list of manufacturers for all of them, however, here are some markings on the white tablets, so you can see if you recognize any: White, round, 2355 V (Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, MIA 110 White, oval, 2357 V (VIntage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals) White, oval, 3416 WPI White, oblong M (in a s...
