Was looking through my meds for Tylenol for arthritis & back pain (deteriorating spinal column) and found a vial of white oblong pills with L583 on one side. Are these Tylenol? ## I found pills meeting that description in my container of Kirkland Acetaminophen 650 mg. (Arthritis Pain relief) pills. ## From what I understand all of the imprints with "L" followed by three digits (e.g. L484, L583, etc) are indicative of various over-the-counter products; often manufactured by LNK International Inc. As far as the pill identity is concerned, it could be Acetaminophen as post #1 suggested, but I just came across a Kirkland Acetaminophen 650mg pill with a National Drug Code of 63981-544 that bears an imprint: L544 as opposed to L583. The NDC code points to a brand called "Kirkl...

I hated to waste a pill of any sort...as the cost of medicine gradually increases monthly, just as everything else.

This is hydrocodone 7.5's .. My dr prescribed me these & that's exactly what they are. ## I'm sorry, but that is not correct. The tablets with the L544 marking are over the counter tablets which contain 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry to say that your doctor prescribed you a very costly OTC (Over The Counter) Acetaminophen 650mg tablet and passed it off as Hydrocodone; Acetaminophen is EXTREMELY cheap, compared to the Loritab/Hydrocodone. If your tablet is white, oblong and has L544 on one side and nothing on the other side, it IS AN OTC DRUG.
