Was looking through my meds for Tylenol for arthritis & back pain (deteriorating spinal column) and found a vial of white oblong pills with L583 on one side. Are these Tylenol? ## I found pills meeting that description in my container of Kirkland Acetaminophen 650 mg. (Arthritis Pain relief) pills. ## From what I understand all of the imprints with "L" followed by three digits (e.g. L484, L583, etc) are indicative of various over-the-counter products; often manufactured by LNK International Inc. As far as the pill identity is concerned, it could be Acetaminophen as post #1 suggested, but I just came across a Kirkland Acetaminophen 650mg pill with a National Drug Code of 63981-544 that bears an imprint: L544 as opposed to L583. That is what I thought it was, however I had taken all of the previous Arthritis Strength acetaminophen and I just couldn't remember. I have a bottle of this, L5B3 and yes, I am Canadian. It is "Life" brand 650mg extended relief tablets of Acetaminophen for Arthritis Pain ## I am also from Canada and those pills L5B3 white oblong pills are as described. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry to say that your doctor prescribed you a very costly OTC (Over The Counter) Acetaminophen 650mg tablet and passed it off as Hydrocodone; Acetaminophen is EXTREMELY cheap, compared to the Loritab/Hydrocodone. If your tablet is white, oblong and has L544 on one side and nothing on the other side, it IS AN OTC DRUG. Any pill that has a L on it is an OTC drug that can be purchased at any local Walmart, Walgreens or Ingles, for that matter....
