Oblong Gel Pill

What is an oblong black pill with nothing written on it? No markings, just the seams where it looks to be sealed. It has what looks like brown liquid/mushy stuff inside, is about an inch long and half a centimeter wide. ## @sherry, May I ask whereabouts you found this pill? I did come across another post describing a black gel capsule with no markings to be some sort of Testosterone supplement, however they didn't open it up to confirm what was inside. Otherwise I have no clue, as it is impossible to ID any pill without an imprint unless you're able to have its contents analyzed by a lab. All Rx and OTC drugs in the US are required by the FDA to have an imprint. Your pill is likely to be one of the following: diet, energy, herbal, vitamin. Otherwise it could be illicit or foreig...

I found this pill in my son's car. It has no markings, so I assume it is a supplement? It feels like a gel inside. ## It will be hard to determine what exactly your pill is without any imprints or markings. Please post back with any more information so I can help you locate your pill.

The exterior is a smooth black. Its a rectangular cupsule type shape. There are no markings, it is solid. Not liquid or gel. 1/2 a inch long and 1/4 in width. The interior is a tanish compressed powder, with a little yellow and white. Smells like something sour, not in an old kinda way. ## @russains123, Being that there's no markings, it may be anyone's best guess as to what it is. However if I were you and had the resources I would probably look into getting the contents analyzed by a lab for 100% verification on the substance's identity. From your description, it doesn't sound like any type of dietary supplement I've encountered (with the exception of some pre/post workout supplements) - but I wouldn't put it past being something more natural either since there...

I found 2 maroon pills in my sons backpack. There is no identifying imprints they are soft gels about an inch long. Can you please try to identify them? ## U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that meet that description. In this case it just comes down to who your son got the pills from and whether or not it was a reliable source. Other than that there's not much you can do, since there are no markings on the pills. I would initially assume that it is probably some sort of party ...

Purple portion of pill looks almost plastic. Has "L" imprinted on purple half. ## Hi Sonnie, Is this something you got from overseas by chance? Only asking because the closest match I'm finding doesn't quite fit every aspect of your description (although it does share some similar features). What I found is oblong/capsule-shaped with an "L" imprint on a lighter blue half and a "6" on the purple half... there's also a grey stripe/band wrapping around the center of the capsule. This particular pill is identified as a CVS Extra Strength Pain Relief PM Gelcap; containing a combination of Acetaminophen + Diphenhydramine HCL. Since this pill is available over the counter I would also suggest bringing your tablet into a local pharmacy for other comparisons f...

Blue gell oblong pill with initials NPX ## Hello, Roxie! How are you? This is an over the counter medication that was sold by the Kroger Corporation at their various stores and they list it as containing 220mgs of Naproxen Sodium, so it is a generic or store brand of Aleve. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

it is a generic form of methadone 10mg gels. for treatment of addiction. ## Based on the description provided, I can confirm your oblong orange pill to be Levothyroxine sodium (25 mcg). This drug has no association with Methadone whatsoever...I'm not sure where you got that information from? Methadone is a synthetic opioid, used medically as an analgesic and a maintenance anti-addictive for use in patients with opioid dependency. Levothyroxine (the pill you have) is a hormone replacement usually given to patients with thyroid problems, specifically, hypothyroidism. Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do.... ## ok so its over the counter correct? ## It is a generic for "Tylenol" - Acetominophen ## Do u puy any pill up my rump i love it up there can i put gel tapz up there so many pills up my rump its so good so doc tell me its big pills too like bunchs like bud poppe ya im 79 and still got it son

Just found white oval soft gel no outside lettering or markings with an orange substance in the inside. Any ideas what this could be? ## Hi Bean, Honestly there's no way to really identify something that has no markings, unless you get it lab tested. But based on your description, I get the sense that this is more than likely some sort of dietary supplement, such as omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E, or some other OTC medication. I can only say that because I have actually seen certain fish oil and vitamin supplements both come in gel capsules like that. Did you just happen to find this pill somewhere or were you sold it?

Grabbed for the Aleve Liquid gels & never paid attention to what color they were but there were 4 left & they were a red capsule. My boyfriend needed 1 for a bad haedache this morning but he later asked what I gave him & I told him what I had given him & he said either they are messing with his migraine medicine or they are not what they said they were. I cut it open & it was a cream colored powder. Any idea what this is? ## It also did NOT have any imprint on them. ## It's an over the counter product, so it isn't required to have an imprint. And it could be that he shouldn't take them with his migraine medication, they may be contraindicated. What does he take for his migraines? Knowing that would help me to research this and perhaps discover where the p...

It is a peach large oblong style pill. It's gel soft exterior with fluid inside. Very large pill it has no markings to identify it. I wondering if it is a vitamin type but not sure. ## If I had to guess I would say it's probably a vitamin of some sort. In general, medications tend to have specific letters or numbers inscribed on them. Could be anything from vitamin D gels to fish oil. I wish I could say something more definitive. Did it come in a specific packaging or container, or if not, where did you find it?

I really need to know what this is ## White and yellow oblong gelcap with N 50 ## I've been on a yellow oblong pill with percocet on one side and 20/325. I was told they didn't tell me of the change. For mfg it says endo. What is that? Generic endocet? Have in file can't take that! Hope its not. I have heartburn, blur vision, constipation, most of all it seems to make my pain worse! Can you help us find a pill for insomnia - oblong blue gel pill? Got it from vitamin cottage but they no longer have it. They are now Natural Grocers ## Do you know anything else about it, such as what it contained or who manufactured it? That isn't really a lot of information to go on, since over the counter products aren't as strictly regulated as prescription drugs. Learn more herbalism details here. Do you remember anything about the packaging, such as a logo? Any additional information you can provide would be helpful.

Can anyone tell me what this is? Someone sent these pills home with my husband stating they help with menstrual pain... I'm not a big advocate of pain meds - especially when I don't know what they are. These pills have TB 200 marked on them and they are blue/green, oblong gel pill . Any ideas? Thanks! ## The marking is actually intended to be IB 200, the bottom of the capital I just doesn't stamp very well on the gel substance. This is a generic or store brand of Motrin and contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, so it is nothing dangerous. It is a NSAID that is commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling. You can purchase them in almost any store. The gel capsules are meant to allow it t dissolve and work faster. Common side effects may include; nausea, drowsiness, headache and s...

I found this brown and tan oblong gel cap in my daughter room ## Are there any markings on it, at all? That is what would enable it to be identified. If there are no markings, it is most likely something that's available over the counter, because all manufactured prescription products are required to have imprints to enable their identification in case of emergency.
