I spent some time researching this before starting. I was a bit worried about the first 3 days as everyone said they were the worst. I started contrave 3 days ago. Day 1 I felt like I had more energy. My head felt "medicated". Not really foggy or unable to concentrate but a dull numb feeling. Nothing like I had read and prepared mentally for. I also made sure I ate pretty healthy - oatmeal for breakfast, egg salad sandwich for lunch, and dinner I wasn't really all that hungry so I had a few deviled eggs and corn on the cob. Didn't have any issues falling asleep at night. Day 2 - decided to try out a theory I've had that if you eat bad you feel bad/get side effects. So I had an egg and cheese biscuit with a soda for breakfast and had a dull headache started most of th...

I have really bad pain and stiffness in my neck due to curvature of my spine. I was taking percocets and soma for it. Im in so much pain i cant do everyday tasks..anyone in area of oakland, macomb or wayne county in michigan.. ## Opioids are not the answer for Spinal pain, and SOMA is not the answer for anything, although it does make you feel better! I would think you will have a real hard time obtaining these medicines, especially together anywhere? ## Hello, Ouch76! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Eddy has valid points and thanks go out to him, once again. :-) In many cases, opiates can cause joint inflammation and make spinal pain worse. It happened to me with Morphine, when I was on pain management for several years, it also caused problems with my wrists an...

pills expired in 2008- are they still good to treat poison oak in August 2011 ## Certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic. My personal assumption is that it lost a good percentage of its potency by now, having been 3-4 years old. I would also check with your doctor or pharmacy to make sure that you're using the most effective treatment option for poison oak. It may still be effective, but not nearly as potent. It's also impossible to give a direct answer to this question, since each medication can effect people differently. We all know that it's better to avoid the expired drugs and stay on the safe side, but unfortunately, the only way to find out is to actually try it. I wouldn't suggest taking that r...

You reciently changed you packageing of MucinexDM to come in a box that the pills have to be punched out of and not in the bottle form. This makes it difficult for people with RA in there hand, if you come some how come up with a better way to open your product or go back to having it in bottle form I think that would make it easier for people like me that suffers from both RA & OA. And that will not cost to much; the price you have on you product is some what high for people on a fixed income and this drug is recommened for me to take by my ENT Doctors. So please think about changing the packageing of this product to Arthirst friendly package. ## I started taking MucinexDM at the recomendation of my ENT Doctors after I had my Throat operated on to remove a cancerious tummer and the...

I have found a bag in my sons room of these capsules and when u open them they look as though they have been rolled into capsules. U can notice shiny orange specks thru them and I would like to know if anyone knows of what these may be. Any info would be appreciated. ## Hope you figured out what was in your sons rooms!!!! That is the worst feeling ever thinking your children are exposed to anything illegal or dangerous. My best advice is to go online and just enter in everything about the pill. It should give you the description and a picture of it and what it is and what it's for and everything. Hope this helps. Keep me updated. Thanks ## @Woods, The only problem Nikki may have with trying to enter the info online is that her capsule has no markings or imprints to go off of other t...

Just moved to the state someone PLEASE help me out!!!need a doc min oakland county Michigan for xanax and adderall ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. Thus, the best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## There are no new regulations that state only a specialist can prescribe xanax and adderall. "First do no harm." The starting line in the Hippocratic Oath. I have been a chronic pain patient off and on for 20 years. Should have been ON for the duration, but idiot overdosers and Congress got involved. Drs. are not fulfilling their path. Legitimate pain patients like myself live a miserable existence. We are not seeking drugs to get high or to sell, but to at least dull our pain. I contemplate suicide daily as a way to not feel the constant pain. There is no joy, no happiness and nothing to look forward to when even the smallest task brings tears to your eyes. Physicians are afraid to prescribe meds they know will alleviate pain because a bunch of bureaucrats, far removed from reality, dictate what they can prescribe. How unreasonable is that? Congress doesn't know me...

I was prescribed medrol pack for sciatica. I had been taking a sam-e supplement (600 mg/day) for OA for the last 1.5 years with good results. Although I stopped the sam-e while on the medrol, I had horrible insomnia anxiety, depression, HBP, rapid HR and 0 appetite. It's been 3 weeks off and I'm still suffering from some of the side effects. Hi, trying to find out why I hace hives. I think my sertraline 50mg , blue, oblong with 50mg on one side and G4900 on the other side is causing the hives. I wad getting tan pills from Oak Forest Healthcare Facility recently switched to Walgreens. The blue pills also taste terrible.I didnt have bad taste with the other. ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? First, if you're tasting them, then you aren't taking them properly. They actually should be placed in your mouth so far back that you're just short of gagging and then swallowed immediately with a full 8 ounce glass of water. As to the hives, have you contacted your doctor? That would be the best thing to do, so they can help you determine the cause and a proper remedy.

I had been taking Lorcet 10/750 since '97. When the Norco came out, the doctor changed me to Percocet 10/325, but it really made me constipated, so I asked to be changed to Norco. It does not last long enough. I have severe migraines, RA, OA, Spinal Stenosis, Sciatica (both sides), herniated disc at L-7. The PA I see at my PPO, has told me Lorcet was discontinued totally, but now I find that Lorcet 10/325 is still available. I never had issues with the constipation while taking Lorcet, but do have it with the Norco. I am a caregiver to my 85 yr old Mom. I really would like to switch back to Lorcet. My kidney function is good, although the Norco does affect urination, sometimes hardly voiding any urine. What can I do in this case? Thanks for your time and have a Blessed Day... ## Bot...
