Nucynta Drug Test

How long do Nucynta stay in your blood stream, not your urine? Thank you ## If Nucynta is an opioid and Morphine is an opioid would they show up any different on a drug test? If they are different tell me how they tell? ## Does nucynta show up the same as morphine (ms contin) in a drug test? ## I went to my Dr this morning and he said that Nucynta showed up in my drug screen. There's only one huge problem, I didn't take it. Nor have ever heard of it.

My husband takes Nucynta for chronic back pain...he can't get through a day wlo taking 3-4. When he went to his pain mgnt dr yesterday, his drug test came back clean and b/c he is a long-time patient, they him enough to get thru a week but that was it. I see this man take these pills with my own eyes so I'm 120% sure he takes them. It also didn't show his sleep aid (trazadone) or his anti-anxiety (Clanozepin) - not sure of spelling. How could it be that he takes all these pills religiously but absolutely nothing is showing up? ## The Trazodone isn't something tested for on these tests, so it wouldn't be on them, at all. will one 50 Mg nucynta..taken almost 24 hrs prior to testing show up in a standard 10 panel pre employment urine drug test? ## I should add that a friend gave me the pill because I hurt my back. I don't have a scrip for it.. but do have one for merperidine. would they show up as the same thing on the test? ## It depends on the type of test they use. I am on ms contin. I was give a nucynta because I feel and was in a lot of pain. Will it show up differently on my drug test or will it be just an opioid. ## I need this question answered also. Preemployment test. Don't need them thinking I take 2 different meds because of recent change to Nucynta from Oct co done HCl.

I am on Nucynta and need to know what comes up in the drug test. Does it come up as just opioid or does it come up as Morphine? ## No. Morphine comes up as hydromorphone where Nucynta comes up as an opiate. ## Nucynta comes up as tapentol and is not on a standard UDS panel can only be detected by LC/MS

I have a prescription for Nucynta 100mg 4/day. I took some Sunday morning and had a surprise urine test on Tuesday morning. The "dip" came back negative - even for the fentanyl patch I have never taken incorrectly in 9 years. I am stockpiling for an oral surgery I'm having in January. My pain doc prescribes NOTHING ELSE. I ran short on meds this month and pain doc gave me a urine drug test which included nucynta. Will she drop me. I cannot function at all w/out meds. ## Now did this turn out for you? I got a surprise urine test today. I take fentanyl patches and nucynta. My last Nucynta was Saturday am and I took the test this morning (Tuesday). I also took a tramadol last night. 1. How long does Nycynta stay in a lab urine test? 2. Does tramadol show up separately or will they both (Nucynta and tramadol) show up the same? 3 I tested negative for both the Fentanyl and the Nucynta in the office so they sent it to the lab. I was wearing a fentanyl patch at the time. Please help. It was dumb but I had oral surgery and they won't let 2 different doctors prescribe 2 drugs so I only had the Nucynta and ran out 5 days early. I tested for my work and tested positive for methamphetamine and dont drink or use drugs. I know what i have put in my body: nyquil and vitamins, monster drink, tea & coffee. I weaned myself off suboxone and Nucynta. Then had to have a vaginal sling placed I've only taken 2 but I don't want to lose my doctor ## I forgot to add in my last post.the pain management dr said the point or what they message percentage with showed my tramadol level 1200 and shouldn't be over 150.i don't even take tramadol.so I don't understand at all. ## Did they even question why you had tramadol in your system??

I have never used illegal drugs. I do have narcolepsy and severe degenerative disc disease. I take provigil 400 mg, nucynta er 400mg, oxycodone 15 mg 4x/day, buprobrion 150 er and 75 mg daily. I had a urine drug screen yesterday which showed positive for methadone and suboxone. They have sent it out for further testing. Did this happen because of the medications I am on or do these type of urine drug screens make a lot of mistakes like this? Will the more detailed test come back accurate?

On 8/19/14 my Doctor prescribed me 5 mg quick release tabs of Oxycodone for approx. 6 months, for neck pain(fusion), 3 slipped disks & a bulging disk, the OCYcodone was too strong for me, and on 9/25/14 the Dr. tried Norco 7.5/325 along with Nucynta ER for 2 days prior to a urine drug screen. Finally he dropped the Nucenta and tried Norco 10/325 three a day and I took that for 14 days. On the 3rd day of the 10/325 Norco he took a urine test, and although I haven't taken an Oxycodone since 9-26-14, today he told me I "failed" the drug test. I was wondering how long the Oxycodone stays in my system? Or could the Norco or Nucenta cause a false-positive for Oxycodone. I see a pain doctor once a month. He occasionally does a drug screen to see if you're taking you're meds, and any meds you shouldn't be taking. I tested positive for Nucynta, I have no idea why, I have never even heard of it. the only pain drugs I take are Tramadol, and Flexerill. I do take several other drugs for various reasons.
