Novamox

monocef-o,100 and novamox, both are same medicine

I want to know the difference between novamox and monocef-o, 100. I'm having a kid of 3 years old, he suffering from fever from 1 week. I used crosin suspension for this bt after 5 to 6 hours again fever comes, also having cough, khasi, redness of eyes and cheek. Doctor suggested me to give him monocef but I'm having novamox.... ## They are both antibiotics, but they do not contain the same active ingredient. Monocef contains Cefpodoxime, and Novamox contains Amoxicillin.
