Unfortunately, there's really no way to overcome medication side effects, though they usually improve with time, as someone's body gets used to the medication. They may be more pronounced in the elderly than in younger patients. This is an antibiotic and the FDA lists is most common side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
