Hi, i get the yellow norco pill with a cursive v and 3601 on the back. Is there a better brand? ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments. ## what pharmacies use this watson or vintage kind? i got the m357 and its horrible. publix and walmart both use this..i dont wantit again ## YOU ARE SO RIGHT! Generic Norco don't work near as good as the name brand can I get help paying for the brand name my insurance won't cover it and I suffer from chronic neck and back pain neuropathy also ## Hello, Zachary! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, no. There are no assistance programs currently available for this, since it is available as a generic, as well as the name brand. The best suggestion I have is to speak to your doctor about the issue, they may be able to prescribe an alternative medication that would work better for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Norco 539 which pharmacy drug that sells this brand. No generic please. Address Huntington Beach, California. ## Have you tried asking at your local pharmacies to see if they can order it in for you? Some can order it, they just don't always keep it in stock, since it isn't used as frequently as the generic. You should be aware, however, that you will be required to pay whatever the relevant price is for the number of tablets you need to purchase to fill your prescription. ## Guess what guys, you won't find one. Welcome to Fascist America. Nixon's jackboots on the ground, known as the lying 'DEA', has made it near impossible for your pharmacy to get the Norco it needs to fill prescriptions. They are only allowed a small disbursement each month. When that is fille...

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am looking for direct help or guidance to procure Norco 10/325. I have been getting nowhere and my medical records only stretch back two months, so I am having difficulty getting a prescription. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. ## The biggest problem you are having may be due to the fact that you are trying to obtain a specific medication, along with questions as to why your medical records only go back 2 months. Most doctors will look at those two factors and immediately find them suspicious, as they are commonly the signs of a drug seeker. Don't you have an established regular doctor? ## I have a family practice doctor, but I have not been to her in a while. It makes sense that it would look suspicious. Do you have any other advice r...

Does anyone know of a good generic brand of norco 7.5/325? I have tried Qualitest an it doesn't work very well. My DR. approved brand name but the cost was $191.00 up front before they would even order it ... I realize there is a drug problem, but what are old people with serious back problems suppose to do? ## Hello, Nicki! How are you? That's unusual, most pharmacies keep a small supply of the name brand on hand for when someone comes in with such a prescription. What did the pharmacist say, or did you try calling any other local pharmacies? The FDA warns that this medication carries a risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Qualitest always worked well for me, but everyone is different. Can anyo...

White Watson 10/325 Norco is ineffective and did not show in my system! How did that happen??? I want my yellow Norco back. Anyone know who carries these nationally? ## Qualitest is the yellow one. The white ones do not work. ## Pharmacies vary on the generics they carry. They may carry one generic this week and not have it again for a few weeks, months or the rest of the year. You have to call right before you go and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. Ask the Pharmacist if they carry a particular generic brand. Be sure and tell the Pharmacist how many tablets your prescription is for and the mg. If you can't get this info over the phone, ask to speak to the Pharmacist Before you turn your prescription in. ## Is the (yellow 3601 V) Better then the White Watson ## @Brad, The overall con...

I've been on Norco 7.5/325 since they stopped making Vicodin. I had the yellow, loved them, then my pharmacy only had the white ones from Qualitest. My last refill was with mallinckro, hate them! I itch and stay in pain 24/7. My pharmacist said they will no longer be able to get the qualitest, now I'm stuck as to where to go. I hate calling pharmacies for certain brands since they think I'm a druggie..when I clearly take no more and often less than required. ## I am very sorry about the problems you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which medication any given pharmacy carries, at any given time, because such information is dynamic and can always change, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed ...

White NORCO 539.. is that the real deal or just a knock off.. and also heard that now company's are going to make it to when u break on in 1/2 a chemical reaction takes the Codien out of it. Not that I care but is that possible? ## Hello, TX84! How are you? Yes, this is the name brand, so it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it does not contain codeine and I don't know anything about the formula being changed, sorry. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Reply was almost confusing on the second part lol Could you be a little more better please. Im not sure if that was in pa...

Is the norco 10/325 176 made by Sun Pharmaceuticals stronger than the norco 10/325 Watson brand? I was taking Watson and they gave me 176. ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? While there can be differences between generic medications, as permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, what it really comes down to is what works for you. Have you tried taking this one, yet? If so, has it been helping you? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## In my opinion, the Watson brand works so much better than the one imprinted with 176. I've taken both and much prefer the Watsons. ## I finally found a Norco 10/325 that works by Sun manuf. I used to take Watson brand but th...

I am looking for the amneal mfg brand of Norco in Indiana ## The Qualitest Norco yellow kind are by far better than the white Watson brand ## In my opinion, the best way to ensure that you get what works is to have your prescribing doctor specify the name of the manufacturer you want on the prescription itself. From what I understand, this is generally enough to make the pharmacy order whatever it is you need even if they don't have it in stock at that moment. This tactic also ensures that no matter which pharmacy you go to, you should be able to get the appropriate medication. It might even help to have your doctor write down a reason why you need to avoid certain manufacturers' products (i.e. due to various binders/fillers you're allergic or hypersensitive to, etc..). Has ...

I've been taking Norco 10/325 for quite some time and have noticed a MAJOR difference in quality and effectiveness between manufacturers. To me the Mallinckrodt 367 are the most effective all around. Interpharm/Amneal (same company /have merged) IP110 version comes in second for me. Watson seems to be the worst with noticeably much less effectivepain relief and with me seems to act more like a sedative, knocking me out which sucks when you want to be functional/productive. Qualitest is okay but seems to be similar to the Watsons only with less sedation. Personally if the pharmacy doesn't carry Mallinckrodt or Interpharm/Amneal then I won't fill my prescription there. I know this subject has been discussed here many times before but I figure since the recent apparent formula ...

To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen

was taking generic Norco was always feeling very stranged, like I was sluggish. Now was given brand and all of those feeling have disappeared and is working better. is there a difference, for some say it's all the same ingredients. ## Hello, Sue! How are you? The ingredients are the same, but the amount may not necessarily be equal. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, a generic can differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients. While that's not really a huge difference, it may be enough that the name brand works much better for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there any...

Differences In these two meds ## Hello, Shellie! How are you? Originally, the difference between these brands was the dosage, however, due to the changes which have been made to the amount of Acetaminophen they can use in them, that is no longer true. It is really best to just consider them all to be the same, they contain varying doses of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, though there are rare cases where the Acetaminophen may be lower. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What numbers would I need to look up for Norco 5 mgs? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list all the descriptions and markings for you, since Norco is available as both a brand name and generics. Are there any markings on the pill in question? That is what would enable me to check what it contains for you. Can you please post back and clarify? The tablet you mentioned in your subject like is manufactured by Physician Partner and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache.

I take Norco 10 / 325 and they aren't doing anything. I think I was even having withdrawals sneezing diarrhea and come to find out CVS carries Lupin. At first I thought I was building up a tolerance to the pain medication but it was like overnight. This can be traced back to when I got the medication from CVS from the manufacturer Lupin. I have about a 30 day supply left and can't get anymore but I definitely will not be going back there. I will be calling pharmacies to see who does not carry Lupin. ## Omg im so glad im not alone on the pupil brand. I literally hurt all over and they wear off in about 2 hours. I have been taking 10/325 norco for many years. A few days ago I received my medication and found it had been replaced with Aurobindo Pharm U03 imprint. They make me feel very ill with a headache nausea and worse they do not take my pain away at all. I also feel very dizzy. How has the FDA approved this Indian company? Has anyone else had a problem with the U03 10/325 hydrocodone. Im frightened to take them but need pain relief. ## Yes, your pharmacy couldn't dispense it to you, if it weren't FDA approved. But there can be fluctuations from one generic medication to another, or when going from the name brand to a generic. That means this one may be slightly lower in the amount of the active ingredients, so it may not work as well for you as the other one did. Usually, the fluctu...

Hello Hydrocodone world: My experience is this. You can not beat Name Brand scored NORCO 10/325. However, my experience is Watson is a softer compound, & works faster. Now, the other generic NORCO 10/325 (36 01) scored other side. This is made by QUAILITEST: many people say they suck, because in fact, it is a harder compound to digest/desolve, therefore not getting a good feeling, but the slight slower release makes Quailiest (NORCO) actually kill the pain more so than Watson (GENERIC) 10/325. The watson have the edge, however the Qualitiest last longer & are so dang close, only a Dog may know the difference. Personally me, & all the 4 companies that make generic NORCO can stick it. Your/My Dr. is going to request the yellow dye, I do get allergic reactions minor, but enough t...
