What is the limit of narcotic 10 that drs can legally write in Tx. ## What is narcotic 10 ? Do you mean Norco 10 ? ## If you mean Norco 10. FDA recommeded dosage can be 1 every 4 hrs, that would be 6 a day and 180 a month. Texas doesn't have any other restriction on hydrocodone combination medications. If you have insurance, your insurance company may have restrictions. Drs do not have to use the max dosage for any med when prescribing. ## Did you ever find the answer? I'm looking for a 'doc' that will stop cutting me back after a couple months on.

I use to love marijuana but one day it quit working for me. It got to when I smoked it I would have panic attacks. So my marijuana days were over. My wife suffers from diabetes and cirrhosis of the liver, and hep c. She also is going to have surgery because she has stenosis; her spinal canal is blocked. What i need to ask you is: We live in Texas and i would like to get her medical marijuana because the doctor gives her Norco's and at night she is in tears because she hurts so bad. What i dont get is here she has cirrhosis of the liver and her dr. gives her an opiate that has acetaminophen in it. I thought everybody knew that acetaminophen was bad for your liver? Looking for a physician that prescribes methadone for pain. I'm not an addict but have been on norco for over 15 years and that didn't work anymore. I just want a normal life. I've had total knee replacement and a neck fusion and in constant pain. I have tried methadone once and that was the first time in years i wasn't in pain. I have type 2 diabetes..for about 18 months with severe pain, at times in my lower legs and feet, my family Dr. in Katy, Texas no longer is prescribing Norco's 7.5mg due to all the misuse of this drug, being I have to walk, most of the day..I do not know where to go? I have chronic pain on my knee from a torn meniscus. Does anyone know of a good pain management clinic in SF bay area that makes you sign a opiate contract and receive this medicine? I have a prescription for the yellow norco 10 325. I've taken these for years and now I can't get them. The white ones does not help. I have Arthritis very bad and I really need to know who still carries them in the Mansfield, Arlington, Texas area. Hi everyone I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneraong lower back I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. Is it still available? I use to take it and was put on norco when it couldn't be found. Moved to FL. and was put on morphine. I throw up every day and it's about to kill me. I live in Texas and have been on it for over 5years for a brain tumor. ## Hello William, According to the manufacturer's website it looks as if it's still being manufactured. If you are throwing up constantly I would highly recommend that you discuss this with your primary care doctor. More often than not when they "can't find" a drug it just means that the pharmacies in the area are no longer carrying that product. I have had migraines since a wreck when I went through the window of my car and got a Traumatic Brain Injury. The last 5 years they have gotten worse. So bad that I rarely have a good day. I spent two years getting into a dr in Texas where I lived and was given limited amounts of Norco or Lortab. I've been in pain management for 20 yrs as a military wife. In Texas my PCM had to take me off soma that I was on with T3 soma over ten years and I switched from perc to t3 about 5 yrs ago. I had no problem going off tried several other muscle relaxers but they were too strong and drug me out. I know soma is suppose to be strong bug I took 3-4 a day for over 10yrs so I guess I built up a tolerance. I didn't feel any high but it helped the pain, guess that's why it was easy to quit except nothing else works for he pain. I am now on percs occasionally but take 3 norco 10/325 a day. Hi. My sister has had a problem with norco for several years. She and her husband moved to Texas for his job and she finally wanted to get help. They found a wonderful doctor in Sabine and she has been on suboxone now for five months. The problem now is that the job is over and they are back in ms and she can't find a doctor. There are waiting lists and prejudice everywhere she goes. Please if anyone can help her and knows of somewhere she can go let me know.
