Norco And No Acetaminophen

I take one norco 5 325 every 4-6 but then after the second pill I feel like I have a bladder infection starting and my ovaries hurt is this caused by the Norco. if I don't take a Norco the next day it goes away. But I need pain medications so should I go back to my doctors and change my medication? ## No, that's not a typical side effect of this narcotic and I've not heard it mentioned by anyone else. With the hurting ovaries, I have to wonder if your hormones are out of whack and it is possible that the medication may be having some effect on them. Have you consulted your doctor? How old are you? If you're over 35, there's a chance that you're in perimenopause and having anovulatory cycles, that can cause these types of symptoms, as well.

Don't ever get that ActaVas brand Norco 10 325 white tabs they do not work I had half yellow half white last prescription big difference with the yellow ones no doubt I did my own experiment The yellow has a V on them I'm not sure what brand they are but they work much better then the Actavis ## Hi- yeah I've been taking the generic ones ( Hydrocodone), and they seem to wear off within 3 hrs. I've been searching on Google for answers and was wondering if you or anyone else knows if they contain sulfites. I get allergic reactions to sulfites and I know these could have them in the inactive ingredients. Thx. ## @Dash, The yellow one's with a V 36 01 are made by Qualitest (formerly Vintage Pharmaceuticals). From what I've heard, these yellow ones are thought to be o...

I'm recovering from my third back surgery. I can take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 mg tab with no stomach problems. However, when I take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325mg tab Mallinc generic, I have severe stomach pains. The pharmacist says there is no difference except the 10 vs the 7.5. It is NOT in my mind, it's in my stomach & it really hurts. Can you clear this up for me? I will be very grateful for your attention. Thank you. ## Who manufactures the 10/325 tablet that you've taken? There can be differences in the inactive ingredients from one manufacturer to another and that can cause problems for some people that are sensitive. So, say for example that the 10/325 was manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals, the inactive ingredients could be completely differen...

Am on 10-325 mg I go to pain management I can't find my bottle of meds am in pain. 8 days before appt will they see I haven't had my meds ## Hi Vicky, Sorry to hear about your situation. Personally, I think you should be upfront with your doctor about what happened, having misplaced the bottle. The main reason I say this is because I think they do have the ability to tell what levels of medication should be in your system vs how much isn't there. Given the circumstances and type of narcotic, it's easy for them draw false conclusions that you're selling them, but I feel that sincere honesty goes a long way when you are earnest and straight forward with your words. I have my fingers crossed for you and pray that everything works out to your benefit! Be well! ## They ca...

My wife has hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 generics for a previous foot surgery she had in May. We had a babysitter today watching our kids and when we got home this evening she went to get one for a migraine she had going on and there was a white, round, no coating or imprint pill in the bottle. Neither of us have many medications or are familiar with them and cannot remember what they looked like but it doesn't seem right. Anyone know what they should look like or could they possibly be like what we saw in the bottle? ## Any hydrocone meds weather it b 5/325 or7/325 etc wil have Watson on one side or other that person switched ur meds to have ur narcoics ## Hello, Beezus! How are you? They do not all have the Watson marking, because there are several pharmaceutical companies that...

how this compare to hydrcodone ## Hello, Janis! How are you? Codeine is actually much weaker, each of these tablets is equivalent to about 5mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am severe pain, not sure if its my gallbladder or my stomach ulcer. I was given norco at one point and i am done. I need a pain reliever, i found acetaminophen/ cod 300, but they expired in 2011. Can i still use them?

Hi, I got 10 teeth extracted yesterday morning. For pain I was taking hydrocodone, and it makes me so sick with an awful lot of nausea and throw up. I don't wanna take this medicine... still got pain... Can I take ibuprofen instead? Thanks. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? It will not likely provide as much pain relief, and due to the risk of bleeding it can create, you should double check with your dentist to be sure it is safe for you. The FDA lists its other side effects as possibly including headache, dizziness, and stomach irritation. Are you on any other medications? Will you be getting a partial soon? ## Just got my gallbladder out and it seems the norco 5-325 only helps for a short time; so I was wondering if I could mix ibuprofen with norco? ## Can Norco & Ibuprofen be take...

Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop...

Is this a strong pain medications? i do not get any relief from using it ## Hello, Shelley! How are you? Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and others. It is a narcotic analgesic, so it is pretty potent, but it doesn't work for everyone, since we are all different. Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you consulted your doctor about the problem? They should be able to prescribe an alternative medication that you can try.

How many ibuprofen and acetaminophen equal 1 Vicodin ## Vicodin doesn't contain any Ibuprofen, so you honestly can't really compare it with this medication. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, whilst Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from codeine. Since neither of these are in the same drug class, it would be like comparing apples to bananas. You can learn more about each drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Details and Ibuprofen Details From my own personal experience, it shouldn't be hard to get a prescription for Vicodin/Norco if your doctor can see that you really need it for pain management. I hope this info helps! ## I certainly didn't think that combining ibuprofen and acetaminophen would magically give me the drug Vicodin...

I have had two back surgeries, and have severe lumbar pain on a daily basis, especially when doing certain activities. I cannot do my physical therapy without taking a pain pill first but then I can get through my exercises. Last year my doctor lowered the number of tablets that I can take per day from 4 down to 3. Is this a federal law, or is it the practice of the medical facility that I go to? I also have arthritis throughout my body and need a shoulder replacement and cortisone shots in my knees, etc. I am not aware of the arthritis pain that runs through my body until I run out of my meds, so it must be working. I do however, occasionally, run out of my meds 3 or 4 days before I can get it refilled. Anything from weather presures or certain activities just elevates my pain to the p...

Saw a new ortho surgeon. Was taking Hydrocodone/Acetamenaphine 10-325. For lower back pain. He said "oh no, Don't take that!" and presribed Tramadol 50 mg. Why? ## Because it can be highly addictive. Also it is going to go from a Schedule III to a Schedule II, Oct 6, 2014. That means no refills, it can't be called in and you must see your dr at least every 90 days. Even though Tramadol can also be addicting, the risk isn't as great. Tramadol became a Schedule IV Aug 18, 2014. ## Hello, Pete! How are you? Your doctor may also be concerned about the Acetaminophen, taking it for a long time creates the risk of liver damage or failure. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation...

i have a prescription from my pain management doctor for norco 10-325 but it has been on back order each time ive tried to have it filled at not only my pharmacy Rite Aide but other major pharmacy's have also been unable to fill my prescription is their any reason for this or is there any suggestion's ## Two things are possible. One, when it was reclassified as a Schedule II the bottles the pharmacy's had were sent back to the manufacturer. It is possible they are running short or don't have any. Second, this time of year it is not unusual for Schedule II meds to become very hard to find or not be able to find them at all. The reason is because the manufacturers are only given a certain amount of active ingredients for 1 year. When that runs out, they have to wait until ...

Is Norcor an opiot? ## Hello, Peppermint! How are you? Did you mean Norco? Yes, it contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, the latter of which is an opiate narcotic analgesic. Learn more Norco details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am trying to find out how many Tylenol codein 300-30 I would need to take to be equilivant to Norco 10-325 ? I have had a different prescription and I want to make sure I am not over doing the codein ## Hello, Ruth! How are you? Each 30mgs of Codeine is equivalent to 4.5mgs of the Hydrocodone, so taking one Norco 10/325 is actually over twice as strong. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor changed my medication from Lortab 7.5 500 to Norco 7.5 325, but now i'm super sleepy for about 2 hours now. Any answers ? ## It might be a slight withdrawal effect, due to the lower amount of Acetaminophen, because it potentiates the Hydrocodone. It usually takes about a week or so, for your body to adjust. However, if it continues past that, or worsens, you should consult your doctor. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Its been about 1 1/2 months, but I just found out. The lower the apap the higher Hydrocodone, that's what's make me sleepy now. I AM VERY ALLERGIC TO NORCO AND THE BOTTLE READS MFG WATSON AND THE PILL IS WHITE OVAL WITH SCORE ACROSS CENTER ON ONE SIDE AND WATSON 3203 ON THE OTHER. IS THIS THE TRUE LORTAB? I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH PLAIN OLD LORTAB SO HOPE THIS IS NOT A GENERIC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. ## WATSON 3203 contains Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are both in Lortab. Lortab is the Brand Name. ## Yes, the ones with the WATSON 3203 marking on them are a generic, just as BL has stated. The name brand Lortab uses the ucb logo on them, with numbers on the opposite sides. Learn more Lortab details here.
