Hello - I got my prescription refilled for Norco 539's, but I have always had the 853's with Watson on them. Some key differencws are the new ones are very chalky and can be broken easily while the 853's are much harder and break with a snap not a crumble. Also it's easy to scratch the norco 539 off of the face. Please let me know if anyone one has any experience with these and if they could be bad? Thanks ## How soft and crumbly a pill is depends on the inactive ingredients that the manufacturer has chosen to use. The FDA has a list of inactives which are classified under: generally considered as safe, and manufacturers can use whichever they wish from that list. These are ingredients that are considered safe for human consumption and to not have an effect on the effica...

I've found it difficult to get this across because the line being towed by pharmasists and drug companies is a disciplined one.. You might get an honest answer from an independently owned pharmacy pharmasist.. But the truth is there are in many cases huge differences in generics and brands.. Ask yourself why a brand is $150 to the gen. $4.00..?? What confuses me is why isn't the public at large more sure of this crooked racket.. I've got nerve damage and have been on Norco for years. This is a great drug to hold up as an example of the nastiness being practiced. Now you won't find wide ranging discrepancies in heart meds or blood pressure meds but you absolutely will within the opioid and benzo family of meds. If you really want the truth ask your doctor, they know.. Tha...

I got a prescription for generic norco and it has watson 853 imprinted on it. I was wondering if I am getting the correct medication or if I am being ripped off at this pharmacy? It is yellow. ## white round ww 2410 ## What is a round, off white or very light yellow pill with M 89 imprinted on it? ## Watson 853 is indeed a generic for Norco. It contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. No listing for WW 2410, sorry. M 89 is Meloxicam 15mgs, a generic for Mobic. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## Is watson 853 indeed 10mg hydrocodone with 325 mg of tylenol? ## Is an oval small red pill with the markings KALI 083 a norco? ## Ron, KALI 083 is Acetaminophen 325 mg + Tramadol 37.5 mg, which is generic for Ultracet. ## Watson 853 - Yes, generic Norco...I have been getting it for a few...

I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. how much does one norco 10 tablet weigh? ## How many grams is one pill ## How many grams in one white 10/325 norco ## It depends on the manufacturer, since the inactive ingredients can vary from one company to another. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablets in question? That would enable me to research more information for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Watson 853 im pretty sure they are supposed to weigh .05 grams but i haven't found anything confirming

THE 853 NORCO DOES NOT HELP MY PAIN AS WELL AS THE YELLOW TINTED ONES. PLUS THEY UPED THE PRICE DOUBLE. ## I used CVS for my prescriptions until last month, when I tried Walgreens to fill my script for Norco 10/325. When I saw they were white instead of yellow I thought I was given the 5/500 strength in error, since I knew those are white. I called Walgreens and was assured these Watson 853's were the exact same ingredients as the Norco 10/325. After taking my usual dosage, I was shocked to feel almost no relief....maybe 10% relief. After this happened, i went on the internet and read about others who had the same bad experience. Today when I got my new script I went back to Walgreens and told the pharmacy I wanted the other generic, NOT the Watson 853. They said that's the only...

personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha...

PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Some imprints with this dosing include: A 328, a white, oblong tablet IP 110, white, oblong 176, white, oval M 367, white, oblong V 3601, yellow, oblong RX 497, white, round NORCO 539, yellow, oblong WATSON 853, yellow, oblong And this just includes the ones I could find. I have always went to Krogers and got my norco 10/325 manufacturers are Mallinckrodt. Never really had an issue as I only take 4 a day as prescribed by doctor for a car accident and injury i was involved in years ago. Well i am now on an insurance that is cheaper through walgreens. My problem is because I love to read, and have read that the ones to be filled Tuesday at walgreens are watson 853 and are white..? Are these good for the pain and the effectiveness we all normally search for with such pill or is it a waste of time. Ive read they go through actavis now and have read that they are not effective at all..0% for pain. Has anyone had this same issue or is it just a hype to all the addicts that think they notice differences in these meds. When I say addicts im not being judgmental ...

Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

Many other people are telling me that ip 110 which is another generic form of hydrocodone 10/325, does not work for them nearly as well as watson 853, which is a better generic of the same thing - hydrocodone 10/325. Obviously, pharmacies are buying ip 110 cause they are cheaper. What else is known out there, and in other people's experience, is it the same? I would like to know? ## Hello, Dr. Moki! How are you? I've actually taken both of them, at different times when it was prescribed and found them both to work well for me. Just like any other medication, it can vary from person to person. The additional thing you have to remember is that most people don't post or talk about a medication, unless they've had a problem with it, there is a much larger number of people th...

I have a prescription for Norco 4x a day, 120 pills total. The dr has written it for 20 day supply. When would be the soonest I could submit my refill? She wrote the refill for December 15th, last month I filled it on the 20th. Would I have to wait until the 20th again or can I submit it to CVS on the 15th? ## Anna, If the doc dispensed #120 with a sig. of one qid that's a 30 day supply. You'd have to wait 30 days from the filled on date so the 20th would be your available date. ## Do u get the norco 853's and 120 a month?
